Stayed here for a friends wedding at The Lawn. The bedrooms have been given a superficial makeover - ie walls painted, new bed linen. However, carpets were very worn, bathroom suite was old, and mattresses very old - we sunk right in and were not supported at all. However, the rooms were clean. Breakfast was nice.

needed a hotel near southend and london and around 15 and 35 mins respective its a very well presented hotel stayed on ground floor. no problems breakfast included and was good choice to choose from, gym facilities available as well.

We visited the hotel for a wedding,on the 13th April. The staff were very polite and friendly and hard working. The food was exellent, overall a very enjoyable visit.

Booked a disabled room. Got a ground floor room with a bath and a very low bed. restaurant isnt open on a Sunday so had to make do with a packet of crisps. Breakfast sausage and bacon was unedible as had been microwaved to death. Poor show indeed.
