stayed here whilst attending a wedding at the very near White Hart, which i presume is their main source of business, its basic dated accommodation, but does all it needs to, just a place to lay your head after a party! a little on the expensive side for what it is but it has a captive audience with the wedding... Read reviews on here and therefore booked another hotel but when that fell through we stayed at the waggon. Really friendly staff and lovely home cooked food. Basic accommodation but had all the essentials. Great location for guests attending weddings at the white hart about 500yrds down the road. Not 5* accommodation but good value for money,

Absolutely disgusting place. We were in the area for a wedding so I assume all the decent and mediocre places were booked first as this was our only option. I'd rather sleep in my car. For £60 a night you can sleep in a dirty room, covered in dust and old cobwebs and dead insects and sleep on the worst... More

Just returned from a one night stay here. We booked a room without facilities in the main building. It was terrible. The curtains were hanging off the rail, the carpet was worn and dirty, the windows were filthy and there was a general dirty smell about the place. The bedding and towels were clean, thank goodness, but very dated and... More

We stayed here as we attended a wedding down the road. Location for that purpose was good, just a short walk away. The reason I would not recommend is because we felt misled at breakfast. We had payed for B&B, on entering the breakfast room we were asked if we wanted a full English to which we replied "yes" thinking... More

We stayed because of a wedding down the road. The staff seemed fine, but the room was small, vary worn, the curtains fell off in my hands, there was no soap in the room or the toilet to wash your hands, the carpets are held down with yellow tape and are really worn out and ther was a weird smell.... We stayed here because we were attending a wedding in the White Hart and this was the only hotel that was in walking distance of the venue - in that respect it was great. However I think they know they will always get bookings for this reason and so didn't make much effort. The shower kept switching from hot to... More
