We stayed just one night. Arrived early and the room was made ready for us quickly. Clean and comfortable, breakfast very good. Only downside was we couldn't find the free WiFi but in all fairness as we got back late at night we did not follow this up. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed for one night at The Star Inn June 4th 2015 and after travelling up from Southampton and arriving a little later than expected, we were greeted with a warm welcome by the owners. We were showed to our chalet style room which was very clean and accommodating. The shower and bathroom was well equipped with clean fresh towels... More

We stayed at the Star to visit the east coast of Yorkshire. Couldn't fault it. Welcoming and friendly, great breakfast, everything you needed in the room. Recommend to all, thanks for a great weekend!!!

Had reason to return to East Yorkshire and needed a place to spend the night. I needed a place with a private car park, as I was driving a large van to collect some personal belongings. This pub is handily placed just off the main road through the village and the car park is easily accessed. The evening meal we... More

We stopped for Sunday lunch at the Star , they do two courses for £7.95. The food was excellent, a full Sunday dinner with a choice of meats and lots of veg and Apple Crumble and Custard and coffee to finish. It was all home made and very good value. This is a lovely pub to have a meal at,... More

We have stayed at the Star several times over the years, the current owners have given it a Greek makeover & revitalised this venue into a superb stopover for those interested in quiet East Yorkshire villages. Friendly atmosphere, great food, and a separate Greek restaurant, offering a full range of breakfasts & evening dinners. Spotless rooms with TV, separate shower... More

I picked this pub because they offered accommodation and were located on the Yorkshire Wolds Cycle Way route. Five of us were cycling and after a long day in he saddle we received a very warm welcome. The b&b rooms are in a separate building behind the pub, they were spotless clean with ensuite facilities. Secure cycle storage was available... More
