Pretty average site though felt a bit hemmed in. Lots of friendly seasonal caravanners that were very helpful. Quite good dog walk that runs alongside the site through a gate. Shop was very empty but maybe that's due to the time of year.

We're seasonal pitch holders at this excellent little site.... The ability to simply drive down to the south coast (even at bank holidays) at there is the van ready to go, no towing on crowded roads no set up and down .....absolute luxury. Maybe Pear Tree has no club house or swimming pool, or noisy bar, but it does have... More

Booked a fully serviced pitch..beware! You will be placed by the seasonal caravans & they are a very unfriendly lot! Basically they dont like strangers in their little area !!! Their kids on scooters screaming past constantly as if its their right to do so.....Nightmare... The site isnt very secure, the barrier is broken so anyone can drive in... No... More

We stayed her for one night in a motor home. Very basic welcome and information (just a map! And where to use the key) We booked a side tent, but didn't want to use it. The owners still charged us, which I though was a bit harsh. The shop is basic, and not manned at all time. My children felt... More

We have just returned from a 3 night camping trip with the family. On checking in we were given a map of where our pitches were and that was it ! no info on site rules or useful info like we have received at other sites. On finding our pitches we found them to be on the small side and... More

We stayed here just for a night on our way home. Really lovely welcome and our late arrival was accommodated which was really really helpful. Didn't get a chance to explore the area as it was really just a stop for food and sleep before heading off in the morning. The area around our pitch was little smelly fant wofts... More

This was our first visit to pear tree holiday park. We booked a fully seviced grass pitch several months ago. For some unknown reason we were allocated a gravel pitch (not what we booked). We therefore had to settle for a standard grass pitch but did not let this slight mishap blight our holiday. We set up and took a... More

I stayed there last weekend for 2 days with my son. We went on a cycling trip to Bournemouth, and found Pear Tree Holiday Park the week before on the web. From the promotional photos, it looked really promising, and when we arrived we were pleased to discover that the site was set off the main 'A' roads among beautiful... More

Owners are lovely, really friendly. Good on site shop with few basics.. On site take away a nice extra. Pitch sizes are too small... Toilet blocks ok. Nice big field for the kids to play in. Overall ok
