Walking the Macmillan Way and this proved a very good B & B - just as well as there was nowhere else locally that we identified. Everything that we needed and a very cosy room. Do call in at the local bakers if you are in Halstock.

We would without hesitation recommend this B&B. If you are looking for peaceful, comfortable, spotlessly clean accommodation with a delightful host who can cook a wonderfully tasty and wholesome breakfast then stay at the Quiet Woman. Paul was very welcoming and carried our luggage to our room where we immediately felt at home. We could find nothing negative to say...

What can I say? Husband and son stayed for 1 night whilst racing at Clay Pigeon Kart Club. Paul was absolutley brilliant, breakfast accomodated for when needed, early as they had to get to the circuit. 8 different types of cereal to choose from, fresh fruit, jam, honey etc, toast, full english, brilliant. Room was fabulous, spotlessly clean, cherry cake...

This is by far one of the best B&B's we have ever stayed in and we will almost certainly be staying here again next time we visit the area. Paul is an excellent host and nothing is too much trouble. The house and rooms are spotless and breakfast is perfect.
We have stayed at the Quiet Woman several times now when visiting family during the Panto season in Corscombe. Paul is an excellent host; rooms are lovely and beds comfortable, breakfast is fantastic. Would highly recomend.
Having read all the other reviews we dont think we can add anything different! We would just recommend this B and B to anyone. It really is 1st class.
I am a Female Business Woman travelling alone and cannot speak highly enough of the service, standard of room facilities, warm welcome and feeling of safety that I received from Paul at Quiet Woman House. He greeted me in the car park, carried my bag to the room and explained where everything was. The bedroom was excellent on all counts...

I have stayed at this wonderful B&B twice now visiting family in the local village and each time has been absolutely superb. This is a wonderful little gem hidden away in Somerset. From the moment you arrive to the day you leave you feel looked after and made to feel at home by Paul but also given space to enjoy...
