A warm and comfortable house in beautiful surroundings. We were welcomed with Christmas decorations which made us feel instantly at home, and a generous welcome pack of food and wine! The rooms were spacious and spotless, and the large kitchen had every device one might want and more. The wood burner made the sitting room very cosy, and its dual... More

Thank you for your lovely review and thank you for leaving the house in immaculate condition. We asked Santa if he could arrange for one of his reindeer to peer over the hedge, I think it was Prancer, so glad he obliged! Best wishes for the New Year, Trish More

From the moment we arrived to find a very welcome, "welcome pack" (fresh eggs, milk, biscuits, tea/coffee/sugar bread) to the time we left, we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay here. Nine of us have taken an annual get-together for the past 8 years and can honestly say this is one of the best (if not THE best) places we have... More

We were looking for somewhere special for our family to get together to celebrate my mum's 70th birthday. We hired Limekiln House last weekend for 6 adults and 4 children, and I can honestly say "special" does not begin to describe this place!!!!! From the intial enquiry to security deposit refund the owners were extremely efficient and helpful. We arrived... More

Not a sound to be heard other than the animals in the surrounding fields and the bird songs. Such a beautiful setting looking out over the hills. Lovely room with a very comfortable bed and a perfect breakfast. This is a friendly clean and happy place to stay. You can't help but envy the lifestyle of living in such a... More

Limekiln House is a lovely guest house; our host was Trish (unfortunately we didn't get to meet her hubby as he was away when we stayed) but she was so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The room was lovely, very comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities etc. The information her husband put together in a neat... More

A group of us stayed here for two nights while walking part of the South West Coastal Path. A very nice B&B in a beautiful and quiet setting. Ideal as a base for walking the SWCP or exploring the countryside, with footpaths starting outside the house. Friendly hosts, good breakfasts, nice rooms and excellent boot & jacket drying facilities (much... More

You cannot find a more serene setting with great hosts than at Limekiln House. Trish and Rob make you welcome from the outset and the rooms are very comfortable, spaceous, well appointed and have great views over the valley's country setting. A really nice walk up the valley, about 1.5 miles, takes you up to the scenic views of Durdle... More
