A beautifully restored farmhouse in a lovely location along the River Drome. The rooms are tastefully furnished and comfortable. There is a relaxed and friendly atmosphere throughout. The pool is a good place to relax at the end of the day, but the highlight is the pond nearby with its lilies and frogs. The restaurant offers a relatively limited menu,... More

Odd experience. The reception was indifferent. The room was stark but serviceable. The shower stall was tiny. The location is divine, in the middle of a field but the place was lifeless. We were instructed that dinner was at 8:00pm. The dining room looked more like a cafeteria. No atmosphere, no warm touches. Tables (no placemats or tablecloth) were identified... More

We've been four one night on our trip from north to south. Unfortunately, because this Auberge is worth staying. Very kind owner, nice rooms ,well renovated old farm! In the evening you have an amazing sunset at the terasse while dining outside. Food an breakfast ok. Price ok! Should be known that it is outside the village in the fields...very... More

Our bedroom was simply furnished and the bed was huge, no bath but a simple shower and basic toiletries, good views over the surrounding fields and all very peaceful. We decided that after our long drive we would eat in the restaurant,influenced... More

Incredibly kind staff. After bicycling 40 km to hotel, realized I had forgotten my clothes at previous nights stay. Owner dropped everything and drove me to first hotel to pick my stuff. Amazing! Beautifully restore house with welcoming courtyard

The restoration that the owner completed here was fantastic, rooms were new and fresh. Our host offered dinner, and since the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, there was no real alternative. The food portion was HUGE for European standards, and I am not sure if he was making amends thinking that all Americans eat large portions. His comments... More

Living in the area, we have eaten there but not stayed there - but having seen the rooms and had friends stay there, I would recommend them to anyone. The restaurant, however, we know and appreciate after several visits. The food is excellent, original, and the service extremely good. Unlike another report on this page, we don't find the owner...
