The hotel is positioned just outside the original city walls. The rooms are of a good size, clean with matching curtains, bed covers and chairs. An irritation was the price charge on the bottle of water left in the room. The safe was in a cupboard but the instructions attached did not seem to match the buttons on the safe... More

Clean, nice, good attention and very well located, near by downtown so you can walk your way around, small but nice pull, and the people are very nice, try to be in the rooms looking inside to avoid the noise of the strret

The Plaza in Campeche is a comfortable and welcoming hotel in this pleasant seaside city. It is just three blocks from the main square and a few minutes more to the seafront. There are plenty bars, shops, restaurants and other amenities close by. The hotel also has a pleasant restaurant which does an OK buffet breakfast and a small pool... More

We came at the same time a huge group came and were not attended properly. I felt the preference was given to the huge group. I got a room 220 which was nice and clean, but VERY noisy with a window to one of the main streets in Campeche that goes along the historical wall. Internet did not work in... More

The Plaza Campeche is located on the edge of the Historical Center, within easy walking distance of the Cathedral and the rest of the Historical Center, though a bit further to the malecon. The hotel itself is quite impressive, featuring a colonial-style architecture. The lobby and the restaurant are quite impressive, though I never ate there. The rooms have high... More

We stayed here for one night only as part of our grand tour of Mexico. Campeche is quite a nice town on the Gulf of Mexico and this hotel is very central. The rooms are very well appointed and comfortable. As we had had a tiring day travelling I wasn't inclined to go out looking for food so ordered room... More

I was part of a group touring Mexico. Dreadful restaurant and although it looks quite grand on arrival -t does not seem to work. There is a lounge area but no service or bar . The bar is in a separate area and is very dark and unwelcoming. The pool is a joke. Do not stay here. It just seems... More

Good quality and very professional service in a beautiful colonial style property. The hotel is just on the outside of the old city but within minutes of the cathedral square and it manages to have classic feel but also modern touches. We arrived late after a long bus ride and the reception had everything ready and lined up to make... More

Pros: - Nice room. - Nice bed. - Strong and free wi-fi signal. - Excellent location. - Free parking. Cons: - They could offer a better breakfast and not only a la carte breakfast. - Waiters were all lost at the restaurant. I don't like that kind of treatment where people put themselves in a position below you and demonstrates... More

We had a terribly stressful experience at this hotel. We booked late online on a Saturday, received a confirmation, but when we arrived were told we had no reservation because 'reservations are closed on Sundays'. How is that possible at a hotel that confirms bookings? We were first told to go to another hotel (!), but when we insisted and... More
