We only stayed here 1 night, 14th July. We were on a tour of Yucatan, and the previous 2 nights had been at the Chicanna Ecovillage, which while charming was quite basic, so this was quite welcome. The hotel is well-placed, about a 10 minute walk, in a straight line from the main town square. We used the restaurant twice,... More

Stayed here for one night whilst en route to Uxmal. We found the hotel very clean, cool and well maintained with courteous and professional staff. The Wi-Fi in our room worked well but no coffee machine. We had a very good evening meal, my husband had been ill and when I explained this to the waiter he offered him some... More

We stayed one night in May 2015. The Wi- Fi as usual was very poor our room was clean but no coffee making facilities it was relatively small but adequate with some nice furnishings. The hotel is located close to the walled city (nice restaurants). Good for breaking the journey between Palenque and Uxmal.

Average sized rooms which are dated and could use redecorating. Beds average, bedspreads and covers looked old. Air conditioning was OK and rooms quiet. Nice lobby and reception and breakfast buffet and service in lobby good. Staff friendly and efficient. Convenient location with easy walk to other restaurants. Fair value for the price. Early breakfast served for fishermen leaving at... More

Set just 3 blocks from the main square this hotel has a very impressive reception area with a small comfortable lounge area, bar area and restaurant. Our room had 2 double beds, a wardrobe with safe, table & chair and a tv but no hospitality tray. Both bed and pilows were hard. The bathroom was modern with a shower over... More

The only saving grace of the Hotel Plaza Campeche is that it is in the Yucatan which is rich in history and present day Maya culture. The hotel, itself, was a total disappointment. The room safe wasn't usable, there was a whopping one hand towel in the bathroom, no telephone, no clock, a TV guide that bore no correlation to... More

The hotel is located adjacent to the walls of the old city. Good restaurants are very close as are all off the historical sites. The buffet breakfast is just average, but the service was excellent. All personnel were very helpful. Good Wi-Fi connection.

I only spent one night here but found the hotel comfortable and well located. It was only a short walk to the wall and gates and the cathedral as well as shopping and restaurants. They opened early so our group could get a head start on the day and the selection was excellent. The staff serving the tea and coffee... More

This is a really lovely hotel - good buffet breakfast. Rooms are good, very clean and plenty of space. You can take a short walk to the town centre - and a MUST SEE is the incredible Sound and Light Show. This is not to be missed! It depicts the history of Mexico. We have seen Sound and Light shows... We stayed for one night during Semana Santa. A quick stroll to the main plaza led us to witness Maundy Thursday events as part of Easter celebrations--choirs in the cathedral and a candlelight procession. We walked through much of the colonial center of Campeche and enjoyed taking in the architecture and ambience. Our hotel room was a bit empty by... More
