I liked the treatment of the waiters, personable, cracked a few jokes, we were there in the OFF season, and had the hotel much to ourselves. The view from our room was exotic, pelicans flyng by our window, a special time.,

We loved this place! Breathtaking sunsets, very friendly and helpful staff. It is located on the shore of the Gulf of Mexico. We were there in November and the weather was fantastic. Beautiful large, very clean pool. Small, beautiful sandy beach. We stayed in a corner suite on the third floor. Windows on two sides of the suite overlooked the... More

We liked: - Good service - Very friendly and helpful staff - Good restaurant where good meals are served - Location of the hotel on the shore of the Gulf of Mexico - Good view on the gulf especially early in the morning: beautiful sunrise, seabirds having their breakfast stooping down from the sky into the water We did not... The hotel is a good place to spend a relaxing weekend in front of the sea. The beach is really small but this is compensated by the nice swimming pool. The restaurant is pretty expensive and not excellent. Finally, I think the main problem is the absence of public transport from the hotel to campeche/other little villages, so taking a... More

We have been coming here for the last ten years. No matter where we go in Mexico, we always plan to stay here, before we head home ! Luis and his fine staff have always been helpful ! The pool is a bit cool but still very nice. The restaurant always has the best food, at decent prices. We need... More

This place is amazing! Very friendly manager and all the people working here. Rooms are large, with air aconditioned and LCD TV with cable channels. All rooms have beach view! They have a nice pool, and you can use the kayacs they have on the beach for free, the water is very calm in this part of the Gulf of... More

You will love this out-of-the way, revamped Hacienda hotel. We have been staying here a few days every year for ten years now. Yes, it seems like it's in the middle of nowhere but that's part of it's charm. It is actually a great jumping off point to visit the state of Campeche's awesome Mayan ruins. Don't miss Etzna, one... Over the years, we had driven by this place on our way to Catemaco, Veracruz but never stopped until 3 years ago. Wish we would have stopped there earlier. We stayed at the south end of Hotel, on the second floor, which was part of the old hacienda many years ago. Spacious room with two double beds and a very... More

My partner and I were driving to Campeche from Villahermosa and wanted to stay someone on the way for a night or two ... a bit of seclusive after a week of long drives and cities. And this was just the place! Wasn't sure they'd have a room available as no one answered our calls or replied to our emails,... More

Just passed through here on the way to Campeche for lunch and use of the beach and pool facilities. The beach and pool were lovely and the gardens and setting very pretty. Lunch was good albeit a little more pricey than usual for Mexico. I had the King prawns (camerones) in garlic which were good but very garlicky! The hotel... More
