The only one restaurant in the resort Le Lac Restaurant has great buffet lunch, too bad that they did not serve buffet dinner. Room in Laketown Hotel is so far so good, bathtub a bit stained but the hot water pressure is just nice. Room comes with complimentary teabag and coffee pack, mineral bottled water and a needle/streads pack, convenient... More

There are 3 hotels under the Bukit Merah Laketown: an aprtment (low range), Laketown resort (mid range) and Kampung Air Water Chalet (High range). They are all physical segregated. I choose the hotel is because I visited to the Bukit Merah water park with young kids and I need a bigger room. 1) Check-in: There is no sign for the... More

Stayed here for one night. Had to pay 240 rm and we have cockroaches in our room. Everything is old and stinks. Nothing is clean, not even the toilet. We were thinking of sleeping in the car, does that give an impression? I cannot think of anything positive of this place. Sorry.

This was our last stop as a family before we left Malaysia after a 6-month stint. We actually visited in early 2011.The Lakefront cottages are to die for;one can sit on the verandah for hours and enjoy the view of the lake and the islands in the distance-especially in the hours of sunrise and sunset.Room service is brisk but eating out... Kampung Air chalet is cheaper if you book via internet. More spacious and suitable for fishing activities. You can do your fishing activities tru your balcony. .and the view is superb. ..spa is available..massage and body scrub is good...Kampung Air is the best...will be back here again :)

First of all, the resort has thee types of accommodation. Suria Serviced Apartment (affordable), Laketown Hotel (moderate) and Kampung Air (expensive). My review is on Laketown Hotel. We booked two deluxe rooms via Agoda which was much less expensive than walk-in or phone booking.I made a note for connecting rooms but upon arrival we were given side to side rooms.... More
