I've been there twice, in winter 2013, in autumn 2014. The pool was very nice, first of all, because there was no one there :)). It's better to take breakfast there, on Sunday for instance, you won't find it anywhere else in the town )))))). Breakfast is nothing special, a normal Italian breakfast. There is a cafe two steps away... More

This "hotel" is in an interesting old restored palace. Only a portion of it has been restored and converted into a hotel. It has large rooms with tall ceilings, spacious bathrooms, fantastic views, a couple of large well-landscaped gardens, and professional staff. It's in a small town perched on the mountainside above the Adige River in a stunning glacially carved... More

The building will welcome you with its nice little garden from where you can spot a comfortable indoor pool, family home of an aristocratic family partially converted to a small hotel. Rooms are spacious, junior suites will offer you a lot of extra space for little more. Room 22 will give you a nice view both of the entrance garden... More

This is a 16c Italian palazzo, part of which is now a b&b. The rooms were very well appointed, staff courteous and helpful, breakfasts excellent. Above all it's a beautiful building in beautiful surroundings. Also, there's a large garden, underground secure parking and wellness centre with a small indoor pool and sauna. Would definitely come again. Tip for finding it:... More

We stayed there for one night on our trip further south. That was a real discovery. The rooms in an old palazzo are modern furnished and spacious. The palazzo has an own great flair and is located in a nice little town with beautiful surroundings. That is a great way to start a vacation there. Internet is available. Breakfast is... More

This is certainly one of the best places I've been and we had a wonderful time there (one week between Christmas and New Year). First of all, the place itself is absolutely charming: a 16th century palace with a rich history (witches, Mozart, a noble family still owning the place...), yet it has all the necessary modern comfort: very spacious... I struggled to find a base to stay at the northern end of Lake Garda - all the hotels in Riva del Gardo seemed to be block-booked by the big package tour companies - but I'm glad I stumbled upon the Relais Palazzo Lodron. Nogaredo is a tiny hamlet very conveniently situated for a tour of the Alto Trentino region,... More

Five of us spent 10 days here over Christmas/New Year. We were in the 3 bedroom apartment, which is on the top floor - 2 flights of stairs up. It is extremely spacious - 3 generous sized bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (both with baths and showers over the bath), a big kitchen and diningroom and livingroom with television. The heating is... More

We had a wonderful 2-week vacation at Relais Palazzo Lodron. Our family of 4 (children ages 6 and 8) were one of the first to stay in the roomy apartments now managed by the hotel. While many would find this a perfect stop for a short stay as they travel through Italy (it is conveniently located off the main autostrada... More

The Relais Palazzo Lodron is a little jewel nestled amongst vineyards. In the fall of 2009 I had the great fortune of attending the wedding of good friends at the Relais Palazzo Lodron. What a location for such a special event—so close to fantastic spots like Lago di Garda, Verona (the city of Romeo and Juliet), Trento, and the Dolomites.... More
