Dated, clean, wonderful woman who seemed to be running the place when we were there. Great views that are beyond amazing. Nice kitchen, so cooking and dining outside your own unit with cliff top views of the bay and the Pacific are possible. It was a real thrill to stay here in March 2012. The setting, views, atmosphere are wonderful and the price no more than the average motel room in ordinary surroundings. The pool, spa baths, private beach and games room are all excellent and the gardens immaculate and I have never stayed in a nicer location. Ten out of ten. More

Fantastic views, comfy beds and wonderful location. Thoroughly enjoyed the private beach and a very cool swim. Diving the Poor Knights with Dive Tutukaka was a real drawcard. This location has an absolutely breath taking view, but is lacking on almost every other front. Rooms are small and poorly cared for.
