We enjoyed a great afternoon the pub is authentic english and once in side you can forget your on the GC Hinterland and not in the a English country pub. Service was great food to pub... More

Stopped at this amazing English pub for lunch. The food was excellent, the pork belly with caramelised peanut sauce, was to die for. My husband had fish and chips and mushy peas, which was also good. The portions were huge and we thoroughly enjoyed lunch and the house Sauvignon was good. I have had pork belly at top end restaurants... More

Poor quality food, high chairs for children we some of the worst I have ever used. Not traditionally English & was not a classic English pub. Fox & Hound roast was terrible! Just cheap ingredients & left us wanting more than what was offered. Service was also quite poor, no menus, had no idea what drinks they did. Will not... More

I picked the Fox and Hounds for a weekend away for my husband as a surprise for our Anniversary, as we have been to the UK several times and love it...On arrival we were meet by our host Nikki and shown to accommodation which was very clean and beautifully decorated contemporary with some vintage pieces. We had decided that friends... More

my family stayed at the fox and hounds b&b for a few days through Christmas and up to new year and travelled through to the sunshine coast and stayed at worldmark resort which I reviewed also as some people saw fit to trash that as well, which was not consistent with our experience there either. The b&b is very comfortable and roomy... On the 16th December 2014, we went to the Fox & Hounds pub for lunch. We had been to this pub before around the time the New owners took over and felt the food and service was not great but loved the styling of the pub and the beautiful surroundings. We attended lunch with my elderly parents and sister who... More

Authentic British pub which we qere drawn to as we are poms.Much better than most you find. A little overdone with the memorabilia but it's set for a tourist. Hubby was dying for a pint which he got but said the beer was to chilled for a british pub. So he ordered 2 and let one sit! Problem solved. It... More

A lovely Sunday at the Fox and Hounds. The meals were lovely but not a great selection for Coeliacs! Parking could be better. There is so much to see and take in. The staff were fun, happy and efficient. Pricing was a little on the expensive side. All the meals were tasty.

Decided to try this English pub for Sunday lunch with three friends, probably their busiest day though. We had two Guinness and Beef pies, two roast beefs and one fish and chips. Food was good and the servings large, too large for two of us. Service was a bit slow though so this is not the place to go on... More

Having been here for my mum and dads 47th wedding anniversary for lunch on the English side and not being disappointed. We decided to have my mums 70th birthday here for dinner on the Irish side. The new owners are lovely people and nothing was to much trouble and we could decorate the table how we wanted. My mum and... More
