We arrived quite late on the Friday evening in the rain & were greeted with a very warm welcome, we had Harley as our room which was spacious with a lovely big & very comfortable bed. The restaurant was busy & yet we were still accommodated, the food was superb & the service was fantastic. We only stayed the one... More

A great place to stay on the cliff overlooking the sea. Excellent breakfast owners really efficient as well as warm and welcoming. Parking is a challenge but a pay and display a short walk from the Smugglers. Would recommend it if you want to be close to Penzance Lands End and St Ives.

Stayed here for an over night stay visiting attractions in Cornwall. What a find! After an expensive meal in padstow the previous evening, we tried the 3 course set menu and were wowed by the quality of the food and the service. Barbara, her hubby & the team know what great service is. Room was spacious, clean & comfortable, we recommend am... More

Thank you to Barbara (owner) for a kind welcome, we only stayed for one night but would stay again, the room was large with everything you would expect from tea/filtered coffee facilities, toiletries and plenty of draw/cupboard space. Bed and pillows were comfy. Pleased to see fluffy towels, a rarity outside of the top hotels. Breakfast was great, large choice... More

We have just returned from staying at the Smugglers for 4 nights, we had tickets for the Minack Theatre and were looking for convenient B&B accommodation nearby, what a find so glad we booked here, we loved it. The hospitality there is second to none, thanks to Barbara and Steve, we were made to feel at home as soon as... More

We had a nice 2 night stay here in April. Our room, whilst the furniture and décor was not to our taste, it was of a good standard and spotlessly clean. There was fresh coffee on the hospitality tray which is a great addition as well as 2 comfy chairs in the room to sit and enjoy the coffee. Our... More

Just come back from a short break in Cornwall and stayed here for a couple of nights - I'd thoroughly recommend the place. It's set in a slightly raised location overlooking Newlyn harbour and looking out over the bay and out towards St Micahels Mount. The owners were really welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. It's basically a small... More

I'm staying here for the weekend and what a find! I didn't fancy staying in Penzance itself, but this is a great alternative. The rooms are lovely - very comfortable, well set up and equipped and the restaurant serves delicious food. As a coeliac (allergy to gluten), eating out can be a problem, but they're on top of it here... More

All the reviews we had read were excellent and we were not disappointed. The Smugglers is in a great location overlooking Newlyn harbour. Our room was warm, cosy and welcoming and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, nicely fitted and very clean. The room was very private with its own little courtyard where we sat and enjoyed... More
