An absolutely first class place to stay. My room was lovely, the breakfast generous and the overall ambience is very attractive. The outstanding feature is the friendliness and notable helpfulness of the owners. A delightful experience all round - very highly recommended.

Don;t forget that - as well as a great tearooms - Abbot's is and a well ordered, but still funky, bed and breakfast. Abbots have now opened on Thursday Friday and Saturday evenings. A group of us tried it last Friday and found the food excellent and reasonable priced. Just popped for lunch after viewing the Giant, we had a delicious mushroom omelette and obviously home made vegetarian sausages. All they were busy with an unexpected large party of children, we were made to feel very welcome. Would definitely visit again if I was in the area. A very friendly B&B located on the village high street opposite the New Inn, downstairs is a tea room also used for breakfast. Our 2 night stay at this family run establishment was simply fantastic. The room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent and sets you up for the day. The service was very friendly and the proprietors, Nicola & Adam couldn't do enough to ensure we had an enjoyable stay.
