I'm glad we stayed only one night at Es Ta Te. The bed was uncomfortable and the air conditioning was LOUD. They made a good effort to keep the tent clean but we didn't feel comfortable in the bed. The restrooms were very clean but the showers were a bit difficult to use. It wasn't easy to find something to... More

It was a bit of a novelty staying in a tent in the middle of a zoo. The weather was cool, so it was a very comfortable night's sleep and the monkeys and deer running around were fun for the kids. The shared bathroom were comfortable enough and I never saw a maid running around like the reviewer below mentioned... More

Great place to stay and enjoy Khao kaew with deers wandering around the camp site. The tent was small and basic as expected. the bathroom ad rain shower was spacious. however, the tent was not clean and well maintained. It was dusty and a bit run-down. The food provided in the package was basic, the dinner BBQ was goid but... More

We drove back early this morning after having a terrible night at the 'resort'. The website and brochure is misleading, there was certainly no trace of 'vintage' furniture and having loud music playing and bright lights left on all night would certainly not be my idea of 'private' or 'atmospheric' as stated in the brochure. In total we paid a... More

Great place to stay if you're in love with nature. Don't expect a 5-star hotel, but expect a 5-star camping. Even thought the room are a bit small, basic but got all you needed. Bathroom are quite far from the room, but i think it's normal for all the camping ground, but all the amenities in the bathroom are nice,... More

This place might have been great once, just like the zoo it's in, but it's good days are gone. The tents are old and moldy. pictures are misleading. They are not worth the price we paid of $60 per double tent and $250 for 1 bedroom with shower. We got ticks from the animals or the grass!!!!! Staff do not... More

Highly recommended for every family to spend a night there. We got in at noon and only one hour after that, we already were in the Khao Kheow tourism trolley wandering around the hill where the open zoo is. A lot of fun indeed. Our kids wholeheartedly love that place. The dinner place also was great. We dined in front... More

If you ever wanted to live in a Zoo, this is your chance! the rooms are actually tents, but do not worry, they have aircon, minifridge, and electricity. The toilets are shared, but quite nice and clean, if a bit strange. ok, so there are some bugs, and animals in your room, and you have to share shower and toilets... More

Camping here is not really roughing it but if you only want to stay overnight, then it is far easier than bringing your own gear. The facilities are excellent - the bathrooms, toilets and showers were very clean, the tents were well-maintained and the restaurant served good Thai food.
