Went with friends for an evening meal and as usual had an enjoyable experience. Staff are pleasant and welcoming, the menu was varied and our choices all proved well prepared and presented as well as being tasty. Good venue for a summers evening drive and meeting up with friends. The Village is small but provides a gentle saunter with character.

Found this hotel by accident in the lovely quiet village of Fettercairn. A really warm welcome Only disappointment no disabled rooms. They did their very best to be helpful and we would stay again. The food was excellent, cooked to perfection. It's a good base for touring around Aberdeen/Deeside and there is a distillery just 400Myra from the front door.... More

Stopped for lunch. Beautiful village. The hotel is lovely and well worth a stop. The food was exceptional and well worth the money. Got a very friendly welcome from Liam, nothing was too much bother!! Highly recommend this lovely hotel. Would love a stay in the hotel.

We stayed at the Ramsay Arms for 3 nights while attending a family wedding in the local area. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and even managed to find us a table when their restaurant was fully booked one evening. The bedrooms were comfortably sized and there is a nice lounge area with free wifi where we could sit... More

Stopped in past for a leisurely evening meal with friends one evening recently and have to say what a fantastic meal. The atmosphere was good, we ate in the bar, and staff lively and friendly yet not over intrusive. It was busy but not yet crowded, pleanty of room for elbows relative to the next table. Food was excellent and... More

One of the better country hotels, very good and helping staff. Only problem was the internet connection which is good only close to the reception area. Not very business friendly, but ok. Helped with packed lunches for me and my colleague and served a great pint of lager.

Was here in March for a 3 course lunch. The tomato and red pepper soup was lovely and the stir fried beef noodles tasted better than some Chinese restaurants with generous portion of beef. My little girl enjoyed both courses too. My partner had the salad which was crispy and very refreshing, his main course of sirloin steak was said... More

Stayed here for one night & couldn't fault it. The room was very nice (room 3) very large bathroom & added bonus of toiletries too. We had a meal at night, home made steak pie with sticky toffee pudding to follow, it was very nice. Breakfast was everything you could ask for from fruit juice to the full scottish breakfast... More

on arrival my initial impressions were not great , the place looked a little tierd amonst magnificant scenery but after 3 days it was fine overall. I asked to be moved as the kitchen extract fan was directly below the window of room 5 , I dont think the manageress was too pleased about this . the food was good... More
