What an amazing place to stay at.. Mary the new owner is not only welcoming, but friendly and expects everyone to treat the b&b like their own home. She had a lot of renovations' and decorating going on and still managed to make me feel like I was the only one who was important.. I defy anyone not to fall... More

We spent 3 nights in August 2013 at La Lumiane. We were in Chambre Lilas, which is spacious, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The area has lots to see -- Gisèle has a must-see list to get you going. When not exploring, we spent most of our time around the big pool, soaking up the sun. Alain & Gisèle are... More

A truly beautiful historic house full of character, in a delightful setting in the quaint village of St Puy. looking over the church. We would thoroughly recommend the Table d'hôte, Gisele and Alain were good hosts. Large bedrooms, car parking just across the road.

We stayed here for 3 nights in late March, and we absolutely loved it! Gisele and Alain are great hosts and treated us like (welcome) family. The place is beautiful. The rooms are big. The bathrooms are very functional. The house is historic. Breakfast is satisfying. The town is cute. (Saint-Puy is a great quiet village to base in for... More

We loved this place. The hosts were exceptional. The table d'hote was delicious. Our room was big. The house is very charming and simple as is sits right on the street, and you would not even believe what lies behing those big blue doors. A stone spiral staircase welcomes you. The breakfast was served on the terasse. The grounds back... More

We have just came back from our beautiful trip to the Arcachon bay and Gascony. The primary goal of this trip was to enjoy the food and wines of south-west France - from oysters in Arcachon bay to foie gras in Gascony. La Lumiane exceeded all our expectations. It is a very nice and cosy guest house with huge rooms,... More

La Lumiane is a delightful old village house with comfortable beautifully appointed rooms. Our hosts were welcoming and always helpful. Dinner is local ingredients carefully cooked. House was warm in a very cold and wet week. Highly recommended.

I stayed at La Lumiane in early November. A lovely B&B with charming hosts. Incredibly comfortable and pretty room with lovely view onto the back of the church. Woken up by church bells and fell asleep to them too. Treat yourself to the dinner, cooked with Gascon pride and flair and accompanied by excellent local wines and lively conversation from... More

This is a very good B&B. The property is an attractive typical cream-coloured Gascon stone building, with an unassuming entrance opening into a lovely wide hallway from which an attractive wide stone stairway leads to some of the bedrooms. Our room (Tilleul) was very large and comfortable. Breakfasts are good (but not outstanding) - a selection of fresh pastries, including... More

We stayed foir three nights in September. Helped by fine weather we nonetheless were delighted with the room, facilities, lovely garden and quite excellent cooking. The swimming pool was a huge bonus. The location in this charming Gers village is hard to beat.
