I stayed in Sultan Room-Suite. That was on 3rd floor, no elevator. Not suitable for disabled. Room was spacious, over 40 sqm, and clean. There were some deficiency on the wall paper etc, but kept OK. There is a semi view of river from the window. Breakfast was OK. Room was a little cold. Heating system is individually operated and... More

I stayed here for one night after literally walking into the door asking for availability after a 700km ride from Istanbul. Not only was the Dutch/Turkish receptionist super friendly, she also made sure I had a spot at the Iftar dinner an hour or so later. Room is massive and with fantastic view for only 110TL. Good value. Haven't yet... More

Stayed one night in April 2014 in a corner room overlooking the river. The room was very clean and inviting with a balcony wrapping around the room. The free internet connection in the room worked perfectly. The bathroom, however, needs a major overhaul. It is very dark, especially since the lamp above the mirror did not work, the tap separating... More

This hotel is beautiful and in a great location of Amasya. They benefit from being in a wonderful city. The balcony is huge and the furnishings and design are top-notch. Two areas for improvement both relate to the washroom. The washroom is too dark. It needs far more light inside it. The muslim shower was not functional, and that was... More

Me and my wife are staying for at the Lalehan as I type this. We arrived at 6.00am in the morning to be met by a welcoming and helpful receptionist. The room is beautiful, clean and warm (this is February). The breakfast was a first class open buffet and this evening ate in the hotel and food again was first... More

The rooms are clean and some with a balcony, breakfast was also ok (we had dinner in the centre so can't value the restaurant). It's a short walk (10 Minutes) to the city centre. We had to park on the street but that was no problem so no complains. Amasya is worth a visit!

After having made a bad experience in another hotel to stay here was a real relief. Friendly and helpful staff, a nice room with wonderful views, everything was pleasant and well looked after. We enjoyed our two days here very much. It is a hotel which fits perfectly into this wonderful town full of peace.

Whilst travelling in Turkey recently my tour guide discovered this little gem nestled amongst the towering Pontic tombs of Amasya. The rooms are exceptionally clean and well appointed. My room had a massive balcony overlooking the river with its water wheels. A very comfortable stay. We also ate lunch in their restaurant and the food was first class. I would... More
