The building is an historical old building renovated. There are two parts of the hotel. One is the main hotel part 3 flatted, with good rooms. The other part is acroos the the main hotel building with a garden inside with seperate rooms. If you choose this side especially in winter you may get cold, heating is a bit problem... More

Amasya is a very very old city located in a narrow cleft of the Yesilirmak (Iris) river. It's history goes back 7,500 years. Hittites, Pontus, Greek, Roman and ottoman Empires passed through these lands. Ottomans used to send their princes (veliaht) to this city which had 17 Universities for education and to build up and improve their governance experience. With... More

This is a lovely property in the old quarter of Amasya on the northern bank of the Yesilirmak River. The hotel consists of several adjacent buildings and it pays to ensure you are booked into the right one. There are riverfront rooms available and these are the best option. Failing this, get a street view room. The noisiest rooms are... More

Friendly service, amazing location and beautiful rooms. The only problem was the quality of the breakfast which was very very disappointing! But if you can ignore that, definitely best stay in Amasya.

When we first saw the hotel from the opposite bank of the river it was all we ever imagined it to be. The area is a photograhers dream and lends itself to exploring but is also just across the river from the bustling modern city. We were booked in to one of the annexes in a large room on the... My whole group loved the Emin Efendi Konaklari. We arrived tired and disheveled, sat down in the garden to eat, and were served delicious food in the blink of an eye. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The air conditioner worked. Plumbing was fine. Location along the river is excellent. You can walk across the bridge to the big mosque. When... More

Only a short walk away from the shops. Rooms are clean and bathrooms were well kept. Breakfast was nice and a quiet area with even bands playing nearby.

We were allocated a character-ful first floor room in one of the hotel annexes opposite the main building by the river. We dined in the restaurant and it was very good. Overall a comfortable stay and one I'd recommend.
