This hotel is not reccommended. The place is not clean or comfortable. The beds are hard and lumpy and the rooms are small and dark, our window looked out onto a brick wall. We did not bother with the breakfast as we wanted to leave as soon as possible. There are plenty of better places to stay in Amasya.

From the first impression walking down steep steps to a derelict yard, a dank and pokey reception, up two flights of steep, narrow and winding stairs to a disgusting room, this hotel is a disaster. Why our touring company booked us into this hotel I can't understand. We booked and paid for luxury accommodation, the best available. This place was... More

I can only agree with the person who spoke about a "disgusting" experience. The room we got was small and crammed with furniture. Not romantic whatsoever. The worst thing was that the mattress stank of nicotine - obviously the room is usually used by heavy smokers. If we had arrived during the day I would never accepted a room llke... More

Without wasting my breath of how bad this place was, I'll bullet point the issues. - broken handles on the bed side table - mold completely surrounds the shower -broken track for the shower door, so water sprays all over or leaks through the moldy caulking - water does not drain, so at the end of my short shower my... When I arrive at the Grand Pasha half an hour after midnight, there's a young guy manning the reception who looked at me from head-to-toe like I came from outer space, and alas he doesn't know that I called the previous day, so suddenly I don't have a booking and he had to call someone on the phone before I... It eludes me why this hotel is highly praised in the LP.... The location of the hotel is splendid: foot of the cliff, board of the river. The rooms however are disappointing: very cramped bathroom in the first room they proposed (actually a converted cupboard which is only accessible if you are an accomplished contortionist). What was really disappointing about... More

Stayed at the hotel 14th June for 2 weeks with family and friends the hotel was great the staff were great the alcohol was limited if you did not drink local snaps or local bear then think about buying some alcohol at duty free at the airport. The measures were very small we had to get two drinks each time... More
