This was one of the best value weekends I have ever had. Incredibly kind and warm hosts provided 2 days of yoga classes, meditation classes, cooking classes, delicious vegetarian meals, a 1 acre artesian spring-fed swimming pond and the most beautiful grounds you could imagine. An experience not to be missed! Well worth it. I am going back next month!

I had such a relaxing and fun time. All the participants and staff were very friendly. I enjoyed all of the planned activities, a couple hours reading my favorite book and then a massage was a perfect weekend get away for me. Nice sunny weather after a long cold winter was an added bonus.I will definitely be back in the... More

After reading some mixed reviews I was not sure what to expect so I decided just to go for the day. My only complaint is that my stay was too short. The staff were all warm and friendly making sure I had everything I needed. I definitly felt welcome and at home. The grounds and the yoga room were beautiful... More

The people at the retreat center are just wonderful...I went in not sure what to expect but I couldn't have been more happy with my experience. Everyone is so relaxed and cheerful; the staff's own inner peace and serenity motivated me even more to try the yoga and meditation practices they teach. I've been doing a little meditation each day... More

I'll start with the positive...beautiful property and I enjoyed the yoga class. Ok so now for the meditation part of it...my plan was to go to a retreat to learn the basics of meditation but did not anticipate being subjected to the religious following of the Hare Krishna! That is all they believe and is all they practice! Not transparent... More

Went to this retreat on the labour day week-end with my daughter and a close friend. We found the grounds to be beautiful and we really enjoyed the clay pond. We were immediately greeted by the people running the retreat, and they were very friendly. The accomodations were very comfortable. The yoga classes were well run and very helpful. The... More

I went to the yoga retreat with mixed fillings, because I've never taken yoga classes before, never could meditate, and have different convictions than I thought would be "pushed" by the organizers. I did not have to worry a bit! The experience was amazing. The people (owners, leaders and guests) were so nice and accommodating, the food was exceptionally good... More

My best friend and I went to Ajalia Gardens this July and had an amazing and truly relaxing time. The place is absolutely breath taking, there is a lovely little pond with warm water, and the grounds are beautifully maintained. We camped and it was just perfect. The Yoga classes were very relaxing and easy. Which was good since my... More

I just came back from spending a weekend at this retreat centre. Thoroughly enjoyed myself. The place is beautiful and the food was great. Only complaint is that the yoga classes could have been a bit harder. I was looking forward to a good workout. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed myself and would definitely go back.

I was really looking forward to a weekend away filled with yoga and meditation. The yoga itself was decent, but nothing to write home about. The meditation aspect is what really bothered me. If you are looking for a group of people to try to convince you that Hara Krishna philosophy and meditative practice are THE ONLY way to reach... More
