The places is good. Rooms and the whole area is clean. A bit expensive but a nice place to relax and enjoy. Lovely beach and it's powdery sand. I love the band and the fire dance. All in all, a memorable getaway.

Paradise Island in Samal sits just off the coastline of Davao, Philippines. You take a short boat ride to the island, and as soon as you step off the boat, the fun begins. There is lots of great food, including giant prawns served on banana leaves. Traveling musicians go from table to table to sing for the guests. Swimming is... More

I was surprised at how well-maintained this resort is. Resort staff are always at the beach area cleaning and combing the beach. Rooms are comfortable, aircon is cool, bathroom is clean. Resort staff is very courteous and they attend to your needs. Everything is well taken care of - from the slippers in the room (which is not the typical... More

The resort is about a 5 minute boat ride from the main land. As you arrive you can feel the welcoming environment and people. Live band during lunch time which is great. The rooms are spacious, clean, veranda, hot and cold water, and supplied appropriately with towels, safe (very important), and the rest. One suggestion, if you want to order... More

Surprisingly beautiful. :) Each room/bungalow has its own veranda and garden. The bathroom is spacious with free complimentary toiletries. The waiters are prompt but the preparation of the meals takes time. Not advisable for those who can't wait.

I went to Paradise for lunch when on the island on business. The resort is very clean and beautifully well kept. Lunch was excellent. Pomelo Salad, Grilled Squid and the Paella were fantastic. Overlooking the blue water and the white sand made it a great lunch.

Spent the day coming from Davao City, a 15 minute, .35 cent boat ride 1.2 km from DC. Food was great, activities, fun (ping pong, pool, massages, swimming, jet ski, etc.) water clear and workers very nice and helpful. I will definitely go again next time I am in DC.

The resort is well kept and affordable. One would experience not only the clean beach but also their beautiful garden. The atmosphere was very homey, very relaxing while enjoying the seabreeze. The cottage we were at, was immaculately clean, complete with toiletries. I tried their body massage and it was heavenly and cheap too. Even before I checked out, I... More

Sometime in February of these year, we had our business conference in the resort with our Manila & Mindanao teams. It was my first time to visit the place and I really had a pleasant time considering we were in the middle of a business gathering. Its just a 7 minute boat ride from Davao proper to Samal. Fee per... More

I took a detour to Samal Island and stayed at Paradise Island & Beach Resort for 4 days and 3 nights during my archipelago tour. It was nothing short of perfect. The resort was clean, our cottage was a good size for us three girl friends and the service was phenomenal with the exception of the restaurant. The path to... More
