This is the only resort in Samal that I will not get tired of coming back. Very accessible and the resort is full-packed. The food is just average and quite expensive. The room is also expensive if compared to others. But, you will enjoy here. There’s a lot of entertainment from day to night. You will not get bored. The... More

The security here is very tight so not much chance of kidnappings. The food is pretty good, the staff are excellent and the accommodations are adequate. No serious issues, but there were ants, spiders and geckos in the room. The place feels a bit like a prison camp. You can't bring in any snacks, liqour, or other drinks, or food... More

Samal island has many beach resorts, but Paradise Island Park and Beach Resort has the best combination of beach, amenities, accommodation, food, and service. Prices are quite on the high side compared to other resorts, though still less than the more high-end Pearl Farm. But this is seen on the high level of cleanliness and the several staff working to... It truly is a paradise island! This is my second time to visit this place and I only have praises for how the management improved and maintained the place! It still looks as good as it was 2 years ago, actually even better!!! All the staff from the boatmen, to the the waiters, front desk and the housekeeping did an... More

As a resident of the Philippines, at first I thought the room rates were a bit on the high side, however after seeing the rooms and facilities it became clear why the rates were high. The room was to a very high standard in build quality and the level of cleanliness would please anyone. The surrounding park is also very... More

I didn't expect a lot from the resort as most reviews/feedback I read about it said that it was the cheapest resort in Samal and that it was a bit of a public beach resort. When we got there, the place was better than what I imagined it to be. It was well-maintained and service was very good. They had... More

We only stayed for the day, using the resort as a base for exploring the island. Although I can't say anything about the rooms, the grounds were clean and well-maintained. The main "hall" (really just a big covered area) overlooked the beach. There was a stage where a live band played easy-listening hits. The food was OK, although it took... More

Why a visit at home? Because from the first moment I stepped on paradise soil, I was treated like a family member. Believe it or not, that has been once upon a time, exactly in 1982. Nowadays, I experience more than a visit at home in paradise. Daghan salamat po to the Rodriguez family and an awesome trained and participating... More

We stayed for two nights here for out first wedding anniversary. It was a surprise to us how a place so near to the hustle and bustle of Davao could be so quiet. We enjoyed everything apart from the wind which stirred up the sea and made the fish "disappear" Food and drinks were great. Entertainment was OK, if little... More
