Isla Reta was great! The boat ride was tedious, but once you're on the island, you will appreciate the fine white sand and the clear, clean waters. The weather was nice in the morning, but it became gloomy in the afternoon and rained almost the entire night. Still we had fun in the waters the entire afternoon.

Everything would have been perfect. We went at Talicud island with the fear of experiencing bad weather since it was raining the day before our planned vacation. But as soon as we came at Isla reta, the weather turned great. Blue skies, blue green waters with so many underwater creatures. You would really feel one with nature with this resort.... More

Only an hour away from Davao city, the clear waters and powdery white sand is amazing. Best not to go on a weekend though, as the small strip of beach can get very crowded. Bare bones, simple and quiet on a weekday, with a herd of sheep making this quaint resort even more picturesque. Two things though - the showers... More

Isla Reta a stunning part of samal beaches relatively clean waters are clear and warm, used mostly by locals access for disabled does not exist. Would not recomend camping as it is very basic allthough equipment can be hired but must also be booked in advance they have a section of different buildings to stay in which have air con... More

nice beach, peaceful, quiet, you can relax with your family and friends. Better book for a concrete house than a native house. because its not a house, its like a cottage house only. No electrical sockets, no fan, not good if you wanted to stay overnight. Book ahead before you go to isla reta. Meals are very affordable, Native tinola... More

I love the beach. It's one of the best beaches in DAVAO Region today. I just don't like it during peak season esp summer. Its hard to book a room. Isla Reta is a simple resort but you will definitely fall in love with its beach. You better stay there overnight to enjoy it more. Lying on the beach while... More

Isla Reta is a small beach resort with white sand. My first and second visits were heavenly, the resort was all to ourselves (day tour only in 2012 and 2013). We were not so lucky on our third visit (overnight stay), the resort was full to the hilt. We estimated the guests who stayed overnight to be around 500-600. Cottages... More

Nice beach..if hoing on a holiday ,I recommend you reserve a tent or cabin ahead of time...not overly developed..needs to improve their comfort room facilities though.Especially during holidays and loong weekends, they should anticipate the influx of visitors and be prepared.

I have been to Isla Reta 4 times. I think it is a great spot, prices are good, service is good-and the beach and water are incredible. However I will never go back there !! The problem isnt the resort - its the boat transportation. The boat leaves Davao at 9 am and is supposed to return from the resort... More
