Clean rooms. Food was excellent. Room service was quick, and the fact that it is car, motorbike, ferry that gets you there, you have transportation to explore this beautiful carribian like island. Festive entertaient at night, although I do not understand the language seemed like everyone was having fun and that this is a place for many residents of Davao... More

I booked 1 night at a more expensive resort to have a romantic getaway and propose to my gf. However, we wanted to stay at Samal Island longer but didn't have the budget for multiple days at the other place. So, I found Camp Holiday! It is right next to the ferry wharf so no transportation is needed. They also... More

It was our 1st trip to Samal Island. Camp holiday resort is a walking distance from the Samal Ferry terminal which is very convenience. The room is simple which come with a nice balcony where you can sit outside and enjoy your coffee/tea. The room is clean and lighting is okay. However wi-fi is a big let-down as we could... More

What I Liked: - The room was big, clean and appropriately furnished with things we need. - Food wasn't very expensive (but not very cheap either). - The staff are very helpful and friendly. - The pool beside the beach was big and warm in the afternoon. - Very accessible (just beside the wharf) - There's a big convenience store... We stayed as a family for six days at camp holiday resort and we were satisfied with the two pools (one children's pool and one "infinity pool" at the left side of the sea). Especially the infinity pool is big enough to swim many lanes. At the right side of the sea there is the new "Halo-Bar" playing disco-music on... More

we've been there for about 3 days (2 nights). room service is terrible, took an hour and still no waiter on our door, didn't expect that their "beach" which they so called "infinity pool" is near the wharf, we we're totally fooled by nice photos over the internet. food is very good and not that expensive unlike other resort room... The place is conveniently located outside the port, the room is clean, the infinity pool is exclusive for their checked in guests, no corkage fees for food bought outside so you can buy roasted chicken, snacks or even bread from the stores that are stone throw away fr Camp Holiday. The only downside is their resto takes long to serve... More
