They offer great affordable accommodation ... I always head up to the Lovina area to get away from the crowds. Mandhara staff are always helpful, they will organise dolphin trips, a driver, local info. The rooms are clean, spacious and great on a budget. I have used Mandhara as my base many times and travelled all over Bali from there.

Located in the fishing village (Anturan Kubu Gembong) on the East side of town. It’s very reasonably priced. The place is beautiful! Rooms are clean and large, huge bathrooms with hot water, beautiful tile arrangements. Small balcony on the back of the room and huge patio in the front with beautiful mosaic pebble floors. Really the perfect retreat for us... More

My girl friend and I booked and paid for a deluxe room. However, they offered us a suite smaller room which is more comfortable than the deluxe room due to no sufficient room for our booking. Prefer the design of the open aired bathroom where we can have the sea view from either the bath room or from the balcony.... More

Very friendly stuff, perfect organization of fishing-, dolphine-tour and rent a motorbike, one of the cleanest beach in lovina directly in front of the hotel, nice pool and a good breakfast (not that much, but therefore a cheap price for the room) Bevor my stay in Mandhara Chico I was in another Location "Mumbul" in Lovina. I like Mandhara Chico... More

I checked in to this place. They immediately hassled me about a dolphin trip. Tried to charge me double the going rate. Ant and roaches in the rooms. Sitting in restaurant and the owner is sitting there spitting on the floor. The owner who is rich by Balinese standards even tried to get us to sponsor his child to go... More

My husband and I wanted to stay in North Bali in the Lovina area because of its more "untouched" feeling ie. less touristy, more nature, quiet and calm, has more charm...we wanted to stay somewhere low budget, but of course clean & comfortable, so that we could spend more on cruising the island for a whole month. We found Madhara... More

After 2 rough days at Bromo and Ijen we wanted to relax and picked Lovina as destination. We were planning on staying at Gede but it was fully booked. One guy standing there approaches us and asks if we want to see his hotel. The hotel in itself was okay, but with construction ongoing (noise in the morning). It starts... More

Lovina has black lava beaches and lots of fisher boats on the beach. Anturan is the eastern part of Lovina and consist s of a dozen guesthouses/hotels and small restaurants. So it is romantic and quiet but you can't do much there but booking snorkeling trips, trekking tours, swim, get a massage at the beach or go with a boat... More
