Having visited Ol Tukai about seven years ago with my family and found the lodge a little tired, I was apprehensive when I arrived without a booking in July 2014. I shouldn't have been as I found the lodge so much better than before. The rooms were very clean, well furnished and serviced well. The staff are a blessing in... More

This was the start of our African Safari and we were greeted with smiles upon arrival. After about a 5 hour journey from Nairobi, we arrived to a welcoming staff, chilled towels and juices and a brief tour of the property. There are Velvet monkeys and baboons throughout the grounds. Make sure to never leave your door unlocked/opened or windows... More

Though Amboselli may not be the best for most diverse wildlife, this lodge has the most incredible view.. straight out of the room you can see fantastic views of Mt. Kilimanjaro and quite a bit of wildlife (elephants, wilderbeast, zebras).. lovely place to relax and enjoy the view.. the rooms are very comfortable though it is a bit weird that... More

Our rooms were on the left of the lodge not on the Mt. Kilimanjaro side, we happen to see a herd of elephants with a bit of help from our binoculars, it felt like they were close enough to be touched, booked in by Affable tours, safaris.

The setting for Ol Tukai is nice, calm and peaceful. From outside the room you view animals like elephants, zebras and hippos. The hotel grounds have an electric fence which is turned on at night. The rooms are comfortable large and nicely maintained. The wash basin is outside the bathroom which I was a little not ok with! The shower... More

We stayed here one night while visiting Amboseli National Park. Upon arrival we were welcomed with a glass of juice. Our room was very nice with a king bed and mosquito net. The room was large and very clean. The shower was big. There is a safe in the room to stow valuables. We could sit on the porch of... More

Loved this place so much, I would definitely return in the future if possible. It's quite a hike out but most tour packages would include transport there and back from Nairobi. Beautiful national park with a mouthwatering combination of marshes, savannah plains and Mt Kilimanjaro almost always in the background. The Lodge itself is truly luxurious with 5-star level room... We stayed here for two nights. A wonderful hotel and the location is amazing. It's within Amboseli park, surrounded by electric fence. We stayed in the elephant wing rooms, where you can see the elephants from your room. In the evening some elephants were just out side the fence, amazing!! Food was great and the service was excellent. Room was... More
