Hotel is in a beautiful setting and the staff aimed to please. We were welcomed with a cold juice drink and towels and the facilities were very comfortable. Had a good view of elephants and zebras which were just on the other side of an electric fence. Expect a welcome committee of monkeys who would get very close and personal.... More

Beautiful setting and scenery, good food, excellent service. They have a team of very helpful staff that went out of their way to make our stay worth while, especially with the tiny tots. Send off cake was appreciated. Real value for money!!

In September of 2011 we visited this area in our trip to Kenya and Tanzania. Right outside the hotel property was elephants, zebras, and antelopes grazing peacefully, but don't worry there is a fence for safety. Off to the side was the magnificent Mt Kilimanjaro, but we never got to see the top as it continued to have cloud cover.... More

This was the last hotel of our stay, and the nicest of the game reserve hotels we visited. It was just beautiful, from the lobby to the rooms to the grounds. All around fabulous. The service was great, too. We loved the adorable monkeys running around the property.

Having visited Ol Tukai about seven years ago with my family and found the lodge a little tired, I was apprehensive when I arrived without a booking in July 2014. I shouldn't have been as I found the lodge so much better than before. The rooms were very clean, well furnished and serviced well. The staff are a blessing in... More

This was the start of our African Safari and we were greeted with smiles upon arrival. After about a 5 hour journey from Nairobi, we arrived to a welcoming staff, chilled towels and juices and a brief tour of the property. There are Velvet monkeys and baboons throughout the grounds. Make sure to never leave your door unlocked/opened or windows... More

Though Amboselli may not be the best for most diverse wildlife, this lodge has the most incredible view.. straight out of the room you can see fantastic views of Mt. Kilimanjaro and quite a bit of wildlife (elephants, wilderbeast, zebras).. lovely place to relax and enjoy the view.. the rooms are very comfortable though it is a bit weird that... More

Our rooms were on the left of the lodge not on the Mt. Kilimanjaro side, we happen to see a herd of elephants with a bit of help from our binoculars, it felt like they were close enough to be touched, booked in by Affable tours, safaris.
