I spent 2 nights in this lodge from 10th to 12th December 2014 with my family. Well furnished rooms. Very delicious food! The hotel staff were very friendly. Oh, the wonderful view of Mt Kilimanjaro and the evening game drives as you view the sun set!! What an awesome family holiday?

I enjoyed staying at this lodge with the lovely lounge/bar going out onto an open deck where you can sit and have sundowners in the evening and watch for game. The bedroom was very comfortable and well furnished with a small verandah attached where you could relax after lunch should you get the time. As with a lot of these... More

We arrived very late, around 9pm - the hotel arranged with KWS to let us in - no hassle. They also served us dinner although the vegetarian chef refused to prepare part of the entree which was dissapointing. The food is incredible, the rooms are clean, the service is very warm, welcoming and helpful. Relaxing on the deck watching the... More

Great location in the middle of the park. The rooms are a touch small and a little tightly spaced. The pool was nice and sitting on the deck at sunset and during the early evening watching gazelles and taking in the surroundings is a treat. The views of Kilimanjaro from the entrance gate are nice as well. Staff is very... More

I visit Amboseli Serena Lodge last week and it was a wonderful experience. The place is really special, perfectly integrated with the nature and with a really nice atmosphere that make you feel at home. The staff is really kind and they help you all the time making your time even better. The quality of the food is excellent. You... More

We recently had two nights here as part of a safari, and it was absolutely fantastic! Everything about this hotel was brilliant - the views, the pool, the service, the way all the staff went out of their way to be helpful and informative. The food was also great, and wonderfully prepared every day - i would recommend doing the... More

Amboseli National Park is, in my opinion, even more beautiful than Ngorongoro in Tanzania. Both in terms of scenic beauty (nothing beats watching all those wild animals with Mt Kilimanjaro at the background) and (at least in my experience) the amount of wild animals that you encounter. Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge is right inside the park. The facilities are simply... More

The lodge is very nice. The rooms are nice. Even the food is nice. What makes this a less than great place is that Amboseli National Park is lacking. It does have a lot of elephants and it does have a beautiful view of mt. Kilimanjaro . But in terms of seeing animals, it is not so great. The problem... More

This lodge is beautiful , tucked away in the magnificent environment that is Amboseli National Park. We were warmly welcomed after our trip from Nairobi with warm towels and a cool drink. Our room was spacious (we were sharing with our 12yr old) and quirkily decorated (as is the rest of the lodge) with beautiful paintings of wildlife and Massai... More

We visited Amboseli for the first time.the drive is long as we had young kids in the tour van,but as you approach the hotel you feel the warmth. I loved the hotel they quickly welcomed us with a nice lunch. The rooms are very nice and clean. They fitted us in a big room for a family of five. We... More
