Rooms are a bit tiny but I'm not complaining. Nice hot showers, food is excellent and staff is super friendly. Lots of monkeys hanging around to watch and the patio is a great place to view the afternoon migration on the savanna. We have a great morning view of Kilimanjaro without the clouds.

We stayed at the Amboseli serena lodge on our second night on safari.. Again like the Kilanguni serena lodge the food and service was lovely. Rooms very comfortable. Not as good as the Kilanguni but nice all the same. We only got to stay one night in each lodge and would have liked to have stayed longer in both. Bar... More

Serena Amboseli is one of the best lodges in Eastern Africa. Full moon nights looking at the Uhuru peak having a nice drink with your friends is as good as life gets. Don't miss it if you get a change. Friendly staff, great buffet and wonderful property!

The lodge is in a prime location for accessing the best game-viewing in the park, including photographing elephants with the impressive backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. The room was comfortable with a veranda to enjoy an all important sun-downer or two, and the pool provided welcome relief from the afternoon heat. The service was very good and the lodge even provided... More

This was a very nice hotel for initiating our safari. The Lodge is literally a stone's throw from the best viewing opportunities within the Park. The staff were all very accommodating and nice. The meals were excellent. We could see a water hole from the porch, but we did not see animals there. According to our son, the swimming pool... More

We stayed here for two nights and had driven there from Nairobi. There were four of us, two couples in side by side rooms, and we used the jeep owned by the other couple to drive around the Park. This was great as we dictated when we would drive out, where we would go and when we could stop to... More

As every travel guide will tell you, seeing the elephant families lumber over the road with the backdrop of the snowy top of Africas highest mountain is a great experience. To then spend the middle of the day in a place like this Serena lodge adds to the experience! The rooms are cute with views over either a swamp or... More

We stayed at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge in mid-February. We were two couples, with one small child, staying in two rooms, side-by-side. I found the staff, in particular, to be friendly and helpful, from housekeeping, to groundskeepers, to restaurant staff. In particular, I was very impressed by the quality of service and attention in the dining room. We found the... More

Room was pleasant and clean. Food was not as good as served at several other Serena properties during my 5-week, 6-country trip in southern Africa. Enjoyed the safaris in Amboseli National Park and the views of Mt. Kilimangaro, even though the weather did not cooperate for good viewing. Staff for the most part was helpful. Negatives: 1) Was traveling solo... More

Stayed one night while on safari, rooms good, tea/coffee making facilities were welcome, clean, staff friendly, a welcome drink of passion fruit juice on arrival along with a cooling towel. Food excellent, arrived for lunch maybe a little late but there was lots of food to choose from, main course at dinner cooked to order or your choice at pasta... More
