We recently had two nights here as part of a safari, and it was absolutely fantastic! Everything about this hotel was brilliant - the views, the pool, the service, the way all the staff went out of their way to be helpful and informative. The food was also great, and wonderfully prepared every day - i would recommend doing the... More

Amboseli National Park is, in my opinion, even more beautiful than Ngorongoro in Tanzania. Both in terms of scenic beauty (nothing beats watching all those wild animals with Mt Kilimanjaro at the background) and (at least in my experience) the amount of wild animals that you encounter. Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge is right inside the park. The facilities are simply... More

The lodge is very nice. The rooms are nice. Even the food is nice. What makes this a less than great place is that Amboseli National Park is lacking. It does have a lot of elephants and it does have a beautiful view of mt. Kilimanjaro . But in terms of seeing animals, it is not so great. The problem... More

This lodge is beautiful , tucked away in the magnificent environment that is Amboseli National Park. We were warmly welcomed after our trip from Nairobi with warm towels and a cool drink. Our room was spacious (we were sharing with our 12yr old) and quirkily decorated (as is the rest of the lodge) with beautiful paintings of wildlife and Massai... More

We visited Amboseli for the first time.the drive is long as we had young kids in the tour van,but as you approach the hotel you feel the warmth. I loved the hotel they quickly welcomed us with a nice lunch. The rooms are very nice and clean. They fitted us in a big room for a family of five. We... More

The room is relatively large, with comfortable bed and a mosquito net that is in form of a curtain around the beds, which is much more comfortable and easy to use than traditional mosquito nets. The staff was very helpful and willing to "go the extra mile". Someone washed our car for a little tip, as it was super dirty... More

This is a beautiful and luxurious property in a remote setting. The service was great and the food is plentiful. The rooms are comfortable and the views are lovely. A particular highlight was seeing Mount Kilimanjaro from the entrance to the lodge. It was fogged in on our first day and it was thrilling to catch a glimpse of the... More

Beautiful property, well decorated rooms, and wonderful service from the staff. Bountiful buffet meals too. It is the most excellent hotel in the area, I believe. They even have evening entertainment for the guests, including native dancing and music. What a treat!

I was in no doubt about this lodge as it is a Serena Property!! The lodge is amazing. One of its best USP is that you can view the animals while having your afternoon tea. You can get a really good view of Mt. Kilimanjaro from the entrance of the lodge. Serena food is always good. Rooms are really nice... More

Nice rooms opening out to fantastic views, zebras marching past and elephant. Food was good although restaurant was a little chlosterphobic . Enjoyable stay. Be careful of the monkeys they know how to open the fly screens and snatch the milk from the tray, speaking from experience.
