The Bayside Bed and Breakfast was our happy place overlooking the ocean with spectacular views! The accommodation was top notch with a very cozy bed and all the comforts of home. Our host, Judy, was simply outstanding. She was organized, efficient, and her home cooking was icing on the cake. We highly recommend a stay at Judy's amazing Bayside Bed and Breakfast.

Clean, comfortable, neat, helpful and experienced host, lovely breakfast. Super night's sleep. Highly recommend! We only had one night but did drive further up the peninsula and really enjoyed Port de Graves and the lighthouse.

My Wife and I just finished a 12 day vacation to NFLD, visiting Bonavista, Trinity, Bay Roberts, Bay Bulls and St John's. The Bayside Bed & Breakfast was by far the nicest place we stayed in. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and a fantastic breakfast freshly made each morning by Judy. We stayed in the Grey River room and had a beautiful view of Conception Bay. A nice, central spot to explore the peninsula or to pop over to Dildo or Brigus. Would definitely stay there again.

Bayside Bed and Breakfast ist a beautiful place with great vievs over the ocean. The room was very comfortable and we appreciated the little fridge for cold drinks. Nice longue to meet other guests withomplimentary coffee and tea all day. The breakfast at the Bayside B&B is probably the best we ever had. Judy surprised us every morning with her delicious breakfast-menu. Nice hiking trails nearby.

My husband and I have been in the hospitality business for many years. Our stay here was superb! As 2 former chefs, Judy's breakfasts were outstanding! Also, he hospitality was awesome. The room was well appointed, comfortable with a great bed and very nice sheets. We did use the common room quite a bit and met some wonderful people. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bayside to all. THANK YOU Judy and Basil for sharing your home.

Thank you for taking the tine to review our bed and breakfast. The Bayside is located in a great spot so that you can explore the surrounding areas or, just stay stay put! I'm glad the whales put on a good show for you. They never cease to amaze me and I love watching them even after all these years. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay.

Hosts Judy and Basil reflect all that is good about Newfoundland hospitality. Judy is the finest cook in the area - her breakfasts deserve a Michelin star. Top notch accommodations, including fresh, comfortable beds and linens, ample hot water for showers, and magnificent views helped us fall in love with this area and with the people we met during our hikes, shopping, and spirits tastings. We enjoyed good weather during our stay, but if the weather hadn’t cooperated, the Bayside Bed and Breakfast’s lovely, spacious living room was a great space to chat with other guests and to take in the incredible views. The Bay Roberts East Shoreline Heritage Walk is a must for folks who want to imagine what the 1700’s may have looked like to settlers. If you are visiting on a Saturday, the “Some Good Market” sells out of home baking, hand made chocolate and soaps early! Hand crafted knitted and quilted items are beautiful and handy, given the ever changing Newfoundland weather.…

This is a bit of a late review as we stayed there in 2021. The ONLY thing keeping me from giving it a 5* was that the bathrooms are not attached to the room, they are separate. Each room has its own separate bathroom. You have to walk across the hall to them. However, they are your own private bathroom, you don’t have to share which is nice. Judy’s place was lovely. She is very friendly and helpful while giving her guests space. The B&B is as clean as a whistle. Amazing views from the inside house especially the dining area, and even more gorgeous views from outside. Judy was such a lovely host and all of her meals were delicious. I’m celiac and she ensured all my meals were gluten free. We had several meals there including breakfast and dinner and each time, the cooking and variety was EXCELLENT! I would absolutely recommend this B&B to others wanting to stay in the area. …

Thank you for still thinking of us two years later! I guess we were (and still are) doing something right. Yes, you do have to access bathrooms across the hallway, but we do have one room that contains an ensuite, and I must admit, it is our most popular. But, many return guests have told us that they don't mind crossing the hallway because they just enjoy their stay with us so much! Your kind words are greatly appreciated and we'd be happy to host you again in the future.
