We stayed here prior to heading south to the Pantanal. We were SO glad we added this to the itinerary. The Chapada region is so beautiful and peaceful, and Pousda do Parque is the perfect complement to its surroundings. The lodge is extremely charming with simple but comfortable rooms and bathrooms (and good water pressure, always a must but often hard... We were only able to stay 2 night's but so wished we could have stayed longer, we enjoyed everything. The poussada is inside the national park and not close to the city, you do need a car or guide, but the whole area is beautiful and peaceful. The rooms are small but comfortable and our ensuite had an excellent shower.... More

This Pousada is the perfect place to stay in Chapada Dos Guimaraes. It is situated next to the national park (same entrance) and the scenery is stunning. The owner and staff are very friendly and always ready to help. From the lodge you can explore with a guide the Chapada. It is a really good place to walk. A heaven... More

This was our last eco-lodge in a 2 week trip to Brazil. Each place we stayed was nicer than the last. Pousada do Parque was the best way to wrap up such a memorable trip! Great birding on the beautiful grounds and in nearby locations. We can't say enough about the stunning views all around, but especially from the open-air... More

Pousada do Parque is within the national park of Chapada Dos Guimaraes and has one of the most beautiful settings for a lodge I have ever experienced with numerous walks and trails on your doorstep. Very comfortable rooms and I was impressed by the extremely helpful staff with excellent English. Thanks to David who took us on excellent tours (definitely... More

This is a well run Posada in the middle of Chapata do Guimares national park. It is about 4km into the park down a rough road. It is remote, peaceful and beautiful. The rooms are clean and adequate but small which really does not matter because you will be here for the location. There is a lot of bird life... More

We stayed here for four nights, and wish we could have stayed longer, this is a low key place, but very special indeed, a wonderful setting just on the edge of the national park and entered through locked gates and two kilometres of track. The garden area attracted many birds with some special humming birds. The bedrooms were small but... More

We only had one night in the Pousada do Parque as part of a three week holiday travelling around Brazil. The room was small, which we expected as we had read previous reviews, however since we spent hardly any time in it except while we were asleep this didn't bother us. The shower is great with plenty of hot water.... More

We are experienced in travel to similar remote places, and the Pousada is a gem. It is in the national park about 5 km behind a locked park entrance. We were provided a key during our stay. Clean, nicely set up rooms with A/C, WIFI (we didn't use), and terrific food. Oswaldo, our host, and Aline, the manager, were both... More

Everything was perfect, although we had already read many positive comments, we were highly surprised on our arrival. There are just a few rooms/bungalows around the swimming pool and the restaurant and you feel immediately at home. Great care is paid to all details. Rooms are a little too small but you just sleep there. The nature all around is... More
