Hubby and I were a little slack in booking somewhere for our 23rd anniversary. We found this place online. We will be back. Carol and Kees were friendly and welcoming. The cottage was spotless and homey. A very late check out was no problem. The breakfast hamper was full of quality ingredients.

We returned to Milton cottages after one year. This time, we stayed at the Lyrebird cottage for 3 night’s (middle of the week), checking out on Friday 6th June. We arrived at midday, two hours before the check-in time (2pm) and there was no problem at all. Carol is very accommodating host, just let Carol know in advance. The accommodation... More

Carol was lovely. It was all the little things that made this a great stay. Such a generous breakfast basket for at least 2 days. Yummy cheese platter and port. Everything was perfect. Such a comfy outside area with the day bed and so private. Carol was an excellent hostess

Fantastic venue. Rare establishment. Great management. Value for money. Environment friendly. Top notch privacy. Decent bed, tv, CD player and very clean bathroom with double spa. generous breakfast hamper. Descent DVD collection and Flat panel TV unit comes with Blu-ray player! A fantastic place to escape the typical areas of tourism / beaches, these cottages did not fail to deliver on excellence. Carol brings forth a 'homely touch' with the breakfast hamper and facilities available in the cottages, while always being available for anything that might come up. The surrounding area is peaceful bliss, with kangaroos being spotted at dawn and... More

Visiting the area for a wedding, we were very pleasantly surprised by these beautiful cottages. From the kangaroos on the grass at night, to the breakfast hamper in the morning, it was a relaxing stay. It is a shame we couldn’t stay longer. The cottage is well appointed. Everything has been thoroughly thought out, with wi-fi, dvd’s, a gas bbq,... More

A great place to chill and unwind as we did for the weekend. The cottage was immaculate and very well appointed. The only sounds you here are the cicadas and birds - so peaceful Close enough to pop in to milton if needed. Thank you for a great break Will definitely will be coming back soon .

When Carol meets you at the office and tells you all about your cottage you just can't wait to open the door... Well it did not disappoint, from the fully appointed kitchen to the bathroom (with spa) and the lovely bed... Peaceful and surrounded by woodland and no other noises apart from the birds and cicadas in the background. Thank... More

We stayed in the Wren cottage which was well appointed with a very comfortable bed and just about anything you could ask for. Carol our hostess bought our breakfast hamper down which held more than enough for the two of us for the two breakfasts. The birdlife is wonderful and we awoke to birdsong both mornings. I can still picture... More
