4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2014

We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed our time here. As others have mentioned, the hotel is tired looking, but still a great place to stay. The location is very quiet but the town of Lovina is accessible if you desire nightlife and shopping. Gus (the owner) took us into town, free of charge, one day and we walked back... More

We spent five glorious days in this peaceful location. Villa Agung offers excellent value, clean rooms and great food. This is a fabulous base from where you can explore the north, or take a short drive to Lovina, or just relax in the gazebo overlooking the Bali Sea cooled by gentle winds. A boat can pick you up right at... More

We have been here 7 times and will be back. This hotel is on the Beach - you can't get it better. The good is som of the best good you can gået on Bali. Everything is home made with love and that is what you taste. The staff is the best helpfull and big smile. The overs are wonderful.... More

Sandy and Gus the owners operate a very personal service, the location is fairly isolated but on a beautiful beach. The property itself is a little tired but the bed was great. No wifi in rooms, only available in the restaurant over looking the beach. No telephones in rooms or TV in rooms and the air conditioner struggled a little.... More

Location: Villa Agung Beach Inn is a relatively small, family hotel located directly at the beach of Lovina Bay. Sitting in the restaurant or on the terrace you have a great view over the bay. Simply superb!!! On the other side, this hotel is in the middle of nowhere, so if you wanted to dine or shop outside - there... More

We loved our 4 night stay, great spot right on the beach, friendly staff, lovely food. Gus and Sandy are so friendly and welcoming, and happy to take you on a little tour of the area, or allow you to tag along when they run their errands, and give you a taste of local village life. We used Wayan for... More

Before booking here I read the "Terrible" reviews and discounted them all. What a great decision that was. I am not sure what their issues were but they must have stayed at another place to us!! Now if you're expecting anything other than a small homely, beachfront hotel with the most friendly local staff, you'll be disappointed. Villa Agung Beach... More

Villa Agung is located in one of the most beautiful and peaceful spots in Bali. A glass of wine at the sunset bar, right on the beach, while watching the sunset over Java with fishing boats in the foreground....it just doesn't get any better. This was our 4th stay at this tiny hotel, and we had 8 relaxing nights in... More

It was a great time there at Villa Agung. It is right at the beach and you can have your breakfast and massage with a sea view. The garden is tiny but nice. The staff there are very friendly. They help to call massage in and book dolphin tour of next day. Lucky to see so many wild dolphins there... More

The place is typical for 3-star hotel. I liked the beachfront private terrace overlooking the ocean, with massage lady offering me bali traditional massage, it was relaxing. I didn't like the cloudy and grey rose wine they served me at the restaurant thou. We smelled sewage water and heard Bahasa announcement done for a long time on a loud speaker... More

I regret the disturbance for our guests but I believe the chanting was from the fishing village nearby as a celebration for their temple. It only happens very occasionally and is part of Balinese culture. Villa Agung Beach Inn. More
