The place is typical for 3-star hotel. I liked the beachfront private terrace overlooking the ocean, with massage lady offering me bali traditional massage, it was relaxing. I didn't like the cloudy and grey rose wine they served me at the restaurant thou. We smelled sewage water and heard Bahasa announcement done for a long time on a loud speaker... More

I regret the disturbance for our guests but I believe the chanting was from the fishing village nearby as a celebration for their temple. It only happens very occasionally and is part of Balinese culture. Villa Agung Beach Inn. More

At the risk of being redundant, the place is GREAT. During my year in Jakarta we made two trips; the first with my partner then a return by myself. Could I figure out out how to do it I'd spend at least 6 months a year here. Maybe next year. In the meantime I hope that they are not overrun... More

I had the opportunity to stay at Villa Agung in February for 4 nights. It was the slow season but you couldn't tell from the service or the condition of the property, rooms or restaurant. The room had very comfortable beds, stayed clean and the air conditioner made for quiet cool sleep. The locatoin right on the black sand beach... More

After visiting in 2012, I was fortunate to revisit in Feb 2014. The hotel is right on the beach making it easy to load on for the dolphin trip at dawn. The food is amazing and hosts extremely friendly. Rooms are great. My room had a fan and air conditioner. Immediately, I have always felt at home coming to Villa... More

When we stayed here in september this place had really bad reviews and we couldn't understand why because this place is great! We paid 200 000 rph with a room with fan, and where a bit anxious. But in Bali fan works great and this fan was awesome (lol). The pool is big and warm and the restaurant is ok.... More

Seriously - why would you bother sweating it out with the Aussie yobbos in Kuta/Legian when you could come up north and spend a week or two here? It had been 26 years since my then girlfriend / now wife and I had come back to Lovina. What a wonderful surprise to see it via the Villa Agung. You're right... More

Selected this Beach-Inn because of it's good reviews on TripAdvisor. And it was the right decision to spend remember-able family holidays which included Dolphin watching, hot springs and hiking/bathing in the waterfalls (all within a radius of approx 15km). Despite the withe sand is missing on the beach the area is inviting for interesting activities and good restaurants can be... More

Stayed here with friends. Very cozy hotel with beautiful Lovina Beach view. Breakfast was nice, staffs were friendly. The owner arranged 2 hour morning boat ride for us to see dolphins. We found a group of about 10 dolphins we could see but they swam and jumped really fast and I only used a pocket camera. The Captain tried to... More

The hotel is perfecly located : in a quiet zone right at the beach . The rooms are spacious . Cleaning and towel change was done permanently on a daily base . Coffee and tea in the room was a nice bonus . Gus (the owner) always showed the good american hospitality - attentive to every single guest and thus... More

We stayed there for only 1 night. We reached there quite late because we were lost. Not because the hotel is hard to find but it was our first time being around Lovina. The staff welcomed us and we have a lovely dinner. I had fish as my dinner and it tasted so fresh. The next day we went to... More
