Me and my sister stayed in hotel Sartaya 2 for 3 nights. It is located 30 minutes walking distance to the centre, but 2 minutes walking distance to the beach. Staff is friendly and polite. Rooms- bungalows are big, clean, equiped in balinese style which is plus. Wonderful surrounding- the garden and pool. Breakfast is nothing special, but good. The... More

I was brought to the hotel against my will ( yes, when you have a driver you do not manage to talk out of bringing you somewhere it is against your will). The lady at the reception is super friendly and speaks a lot ... She knows the drill. I didn't want to stay but she gave few calls and... More

We were taken to this place by our 'shuttle bus' from ubud who refused to stop at the place we had booked, instead taking us to this hotel who all pounced, keeping our bags in the car until we had seen the room and been talked to by some other 'friend' of there's doing dodgy diving trips. It looks like... More

This was my 3rd stay in the hotel and I already booked rooms for next holiday later on this year. I really love the garden and balinese houses. Even there is several houses next to each other, you still have your own privacy. I have always got excellent service here and keep coming back. I think breakfast good be better,... More

The tiny lady working at the travel information/reception is super friendly, she organized everything for us, at a super price! Thank you! For 200k/night (breakfast included) we got room nr 2, including mosquito net. Excellent swimming pool. Restaurant: breakfast was ok. Warung Indra (nearby, on the left to go to the beach) was our favorite: good and cheaper food. The... More

I went to Lovina with 5 other friends last week, we arrived rather late, then rent 2 rooms for the guys and girls. At first the staff agreed to gave us IDR 150.000 per room, until a lady came and said that we've got to pay IDR 200.000 per room. The place is nice enough, the price relatively cheap, while... More

On our way to our pre-booked hotel for lovina, (suma hotel, beautiful) we were stopped by the proprietors of sartaya 2 hotel, they obviously seen us with our back packs and realised we were an easy target. The hotel is a nice enough hotel with a pool, but they sold us a PADI diving course for 560 australian dollars, when... More

I was recommended this hotel and found it a great place to stay. The staff and owners are some of the friendliest people I've met in Bali and so have chosen to stay here for some of my trip every time I visit Bali. Both times I stayed (Dec 2012 and Jan 2013) I had an amazing time. The food... More

During my stay at Hotel Sartaya I found the staff to be really kind, helpful and with really good English. They were very informative and were ready to help me with whatever I needed. The room was unsuspected big, spotless cleaned and with a choice of both air con or fan. Queen size bed, with mosquito net. Towels, hot water,... More

We heard about this place through a driver we'd become friends with from a hotel in Ubud, who was friends with the managers at Sartaya. Once we arrived the owners sat with us over a 'welcome drink' as they demanded our cash for 3 night's accommodation up-front, while they also tried to talk us into as many tours as they... More
