Visited this hotel last week. We had a standard room no airco and nearby the road. Very noisy was up half night. At 4 dogs started barking en all other kind of sounds animals and peaople. Room was very unsafe door had a dust and there where spaces around the window. No safe and very disturbing bathroom. Food was also... More

Breakfast was not good. Ice in the juice (you cant drink it because of the chloor in it) staff was not very nice. The door was very unsave and there was no save in it. Also a lot of muscito because the windows and door are not totaly close. Very dissapointing. When I ask for drinkwater I got hot water... More

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights at the beginning of June. It's well located on Jalan Mawar close to many warungs and eateries, shops, salons and a short stroll to the beach area and Dolphin Road where there are bars, etc. There's a lot to like about the Rambutan. The grounds are very nice and have a... More

Rambutan is a nice enough hotel to enjoy your stay in Lovina, it is very centrally located from local shops, restaurants, bars and just a short 5 minute walk to the beach. Very relaxing and peaceful place set in a tropical garden with a nice swimming pool in the middle. Rooms are a little old but quite big and nice... More

The Rambutan is a beautiful hotel with lovely gardens, a nice big pool, a pleasant bar, good breakfasts, nice big rooms, and some cute design features (the stone bathrooms, the thatched shelters by the pool, etc.). It's within three minutes' walk of the beach (not a great attraction in itself, I'm afraid) and close to the main drag with shops,... More

We were here a year ago and back again for what was only going to be a week, but have added another couple of days. It's so peaceful and relaxing and easy to just spend a day by the pool, then go out and watch the sunset at the beach which is less than 5 minutes walk away. The massage... More

This was our 5 stop on our around Bali tour taking in Sanur, Ubud, Candidasa, Amed & Lovina. We stayed in a superior room (all deluxe rooms booked to a large group coming in & the villas were way to expensive for us), nothing flash, fairly budget. Although there is a more budget room then ours (fan only) we were... More

It is a great place to stay in a nature atmosphere. The room is great with a ceiling fan. Black sand beach and restaurants are nearby within 5 mins walk. If you want to be away from city, it would be a great choice. 3 dogs there in lobby are friendly and act as ambassadors of hotel. Nice!

The grounds at the Rambutan are truly lovely, a lush world of their own. Very tranquil, nicely tucked off the beaten path, but only a short stroll to main road or bustling beach. Rooms are well appointed, pool and restaurant area maintain the away-from-it-all feeling. Owners are friendly and knowledgeable. Had a very nice stay.

Lovina is tired but atmospheric in its own way and too many properties are has-beens. Not Rambutan, Lovina itself has no swimmable beach in my opinion unless you stay at The Lovina - the only upmarket contemporary hotel set in rice paddy with its own clean beach. If you want beach, go to Pemuteran. Rambutan is on a side street... More
