I was expecting great things after reading the reviews and was left feeling slightly let down. The room was functional and clean and the super king bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom however was badly ventilated, with the inevitable results of musty smell and stained paintwork. The road noise was quite intrusive during the day, but not at all noticeable... More

From the moment we drove into the premises car park there was a feeling of calm. We were greeted by a lovely young lady with a smile as big as the hotel. This member of staff needs commending on excellent customer service and even when I asked for a different room due to the window lock not staying locked in... More

Excellent service in the restaurant. Attentive staff. Jonathan Wyatt Big Band played in the conservatory. (Regular event) All in all a very pleasant evening. My friend stayed in an excellent room with a four poster bed. He enjoyed a large, tasty breakfast. Lovely clean and very friendly environment.

We just had 2 nights at this hotel, it is close to the Norfolk Broads and to Norwich, the hotel sits next to a busy road, though this wasn't a problem. The first thing is the generous car park, despite 2 weddings whilst we were there there was allways somwhere to park, the staffe were the first point of contact... More

This hotel was booked for one night for a business trip I am upset that I don't visit this area very often as it is a hidden gem. The room was clean and a very comfortable bed, the wi-fi was fast. The food was very nice and well priced but what I liked most about this hotel was the staff... More

6 of us stayed here for 1 night, end of May. Management were amazing, providing a secure garage for our motorbikes and the evening receptionist kindly went out to collect a Chinese takeaway for us.All rooms perfect, beautiful gardens, lovely food and extremely well kept. Definately highly recommend this hotel.

My friend and I stayed here for one night at the end of May'15, as we were visiting from Peterborough for her brothers wedding. Apart from the rush hour traffic in Norwich the hotel was very easy to find and the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly and swiftly showed us to our room. All expected amenities were included in... More

My daughter and I stayed here when going to an event in Norwich. A bit of a way out from Norwich (other places booked) Beds were small, standard singles but comfy. Shower was good, room neat and clean. We missed breakfast (stopped serving at 9.00 - which I thought was a bit early for a bank holiday). Overl OK though

My wife and I have just returned from a midweek stay, Monday to Friday, at this hotel, on arrival we were met with a smiling, friendly receptionist, who quickly checked us in and showed us to our room. The room was very clean and spacious which overlooked the garden, a huge king size bed which was very comfortable and the... More

The only thing I can say in this hotel's favour is that the staff were friendly and helpful. Otherwise, the décor was tired and shabby and looked like it hadn't been updated in 20 years. The room smelt musty and was dark and claustrophobic. We felt that the price did not justify the poor surroundings, and were left deeply disappointed... More
