Friendly, helpful staff from reception to bar. Also good rooms (although not very big) and good food. This hotel is geared up for conferences and weddings but if your looking for somewhere to stay on business or if your passing through Devon give this place a try. Also has plenty of free parking which is a bonus!

We booked into the hotel for one night for business. The bed was not comfortable and the bathroom had hair on the floor when we arrived. We had dinner at the restaurant which was not nice. The Hamburger with red onions was a complete disappointment as was the steak baguette, both were shocking. The breakfast that was included in the... More

Looks like a motel from outside but very nicely done inside. The rooms are decorated to a high standard especially the Ashton Suite which we stayed in (its not actually a suite but a larger room that has a connecting door to the other 'suite' if you have a larger family or friends etc. The food is very nice with... This hotel was in a prime location for Crealy and a visit to Newton Abbot. I will definitely be booking again and for longer next time. My daughter age 6 loved it too. Such a warm welcome and polite helpful staff. My daugher was well looked after and staff were so sweet with her.

Perfectly good accommodation, friendly staff and excellent value food and room cost. Nothing to dislike at all and exceptionally convenient if you need a stopover on the way down to deepest Devon. If what you want is decent good value bite to eat and a night's sleep - it will do the job nicely.

This was a stopover while visiting friends in a small town nearby. The hotel is off the motorway, so good location to get to everything, but the views of the rolling hills etc still good, no noise at night from motorway in my room. Paif for a slightly larger double room, wasn't really worth the extra £10, my parents had... More
