We arrived late in the evening after a long flight The staff were very friendly and welcoming and spoke enough English for us to understand despite our total lack of Portuguese. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good. As a stopover it was a good place to stay - 15 mins drive from the airport with... More

We booked this hotel very last minute since we had to cancel our other terrible hotel. The hotel is clean and decent. It is however in another city and far from Rio. On the weekend with no traffic it took us 30-40 min to get to Rio. It is relatively close to the airport (30min) but be aware that since... More

It was a real pain checking in the hotel at 2 AM because the travel agency (despegar.com) had not submitted the reservation the day before. The clerk was somewhat helpful and we made it to the room but no sooner than 1 hour, after sending credit card resumes and other information by mail (at least they were able to provide... More

Since there are no hotels at the airport in Rio (unbelievably!), I read some reviews and websites and this hotel was the closest you could get to the airport with decent reviews - I only needed to spend one night in Rio and had an early flight the next morning so didn't want to go all the way into the... We chose this hotel as it was the closest and most reasonably priced place to stay near to the airport. It is about a 30 minute taxi journey to the hotel from Rio (GIG) and should cost you no more than 50 Reals - We were charged various different amounts!! A piece of advice is make sure you get a... It's a new hotel, so it is many things that need to be adjust, like the management. The location for who want to stay in Rio is not good, but for those who are doing business around its perfect. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

We just needed a place to sleep in after a past-midnight arrival in Rio and before a next day afternoon departure. We know the existence of Luxor Aeropoto Hotel inside the airport but the bad reviews and its pricey rate put us off. We rather endure a little inconvenience for a good night’s sleep. Mount Blanc Apart Hotel is about... More

Hotel 15 minutes from the airport away from Rio itself. Boring neighborhood . We arrive late in the evening and all streets in the surrounding was deserted. We had prebooked the hotel. Check in took 20 minutes and it was very hard to communicate due to very poor English. Average hotel room, very warm with poor AC. Very good breakfast!... More

Just back from trip ti this hotel. Rooms are great, nicely decorated, comfortable and big. The only issue with this hotel is that it's outside of rio so if you get a taxi, your fare is double as they charge a return automatically which we didn't know when we booked. Nice area and good hotel though if this isn't an... More

Stayed here for one night in order to be near the airport. The rooms are actually really nice and much better than shown on websites. Clean, comfortable and modern with a fridge, microwave and a few little extras. Nice bathroom too. The lobby is clean and modern and the breakfast was good - plenty of it and it started early...
