I stayed 3 days in this small countryside hotel and it was great.Ulrike and Mohamed gave me a very especial treatment and I felt there better than home. They showed me all the places around the funduk,coming with me to most of them. The situation is very good just 10Km from Edfu in the edge of a village and between... More

Hotel Funduk al Shams run by Ulrike Grimm and Mohamed Saad, is very special. A small hotel between the sugarcane fields on approximately 2 km walk from the Nile. Ulrike and Mohamed are very good hostst for their guests. They show the surroundings, the fields and the village. The hotel is not far from the best preserved temple of Egypt... More
