We wanted somewhere near Heswall where we were visiting friends. We couldn't have found anywhere better. The host was most welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The lodge (at the bottom of the garden) was fresh and new, cosy and clean. Breakfast was of a high standard. All in all, a good choice. Even the cat was friendly.

My husband and I stayed here for several nights with two very young children. The room was clean and spacious and Mark could not have done more to make us comfortable. The breakfast was exceptionally good and the bed was huge and so comfortable. The shower was not the most powerful but it was roomy, warm and fantastically clean. We... More

The lodge is situated at the bottom of marks garden. Our room was spacious, clean and the bed was enormous. The bathroom was also on the large side with... More

We stayed here on the evening of my birthday as wanted to get away from the black eye Friday of the big city. Mark was very welcoming and we were shown to our room in the lodge at the bottom of the garden. The room was cozy and well insulated. The bathroom was perfect and lots of toiletries to hand... More

Stayed here for a 2nd time for our anniversary. We arrived to a lovely anniversary card in our room. Yet again amazing nights sleep. Lovely breakfast. Clean, everything you could need is available in your room on your arrival. Great location. Again, cannot fault this lodge. Highly recommend to all

As the previous revues state you can not fault the lodges, they are well insulated I woke to silence, nice walk up the path to the main house for a good quality well cooked breakfast. The owner Mark is welcoming and very helpful. There are two pubs, Chinese, Indian, and an Italian all less than a five minute walk. The... More

My son and I stayed here as he had a golf tournament close by. What an absolute gem. They are 2 chalets at the bottom of their garden which are luxurious, very spacious, absolutely spotless, finished in a very high standard, Attention to detail even down to the little added extras especially for the ladies. Which I have never found... More
