No running water got 3 and half days. Management were not interested. The fact my friend and I were ill along with 5 other room occupants didn't worry them either. The place is run by kids. No mature staff other than kitchen staff. Its on a working beach. .not a beach you can enjoy. .but Railay Beach is a 10... More

The staff were incredibly rude from the second I arrived - especially the females. They seemed more interested in flirting and carrying on with the other male staff then actually doing their jobs. The resort is not at all maintained. My room was old and dirty. The door didnt really lock properly and I didnt feel entirely safe. The worst... More

Bad, bad, bad! Very dirty and old rooms, no water sometimes, rubish all over the resort, bad smell in the room, very uncomfortable bed (like sleeping on the floor), bad breakfast, very unfriendly staff who doesn't make you feel welcome, wifi doesn't work, bad location.. Pictures on websites or booking.com don't show reality.. To sum up, worst hotel ever! Don't... More

We were excited to revisit Railay Bay within a few weeks of the last time, we arrived and were immediately requested to pay the full balance, I argued as normally it's acceptable to pay upon check out, I relented and paid, headed to the room, wifi whilst available in room did not function for our entire short stay, marked as... Me and my girlfriend stayed here just after New Year, we also had other friends staying around Railay at different resorts. Upon arrival the place looked dated and tired compared to the pictures, and our room was extremely basic. The pool is shaded and the view is blocked. The breakfast was good, however when we were able to see where... More

I hate giving bad reviews, I really do - I am very understanding and don't ever complain too much, I tend to only expect a working toilet and shower. BUT this place really upset me. This hotel ruined the first day of my significant other and mine first beach vacation in 3 years. We arrived to find our room dirty... More

The hotel is old and urgently needs to undergo a renovation. The reception looks nice but the rooms are shabby and not really clean and most definitely overpriced. Especially the bathroom is dirty. The food in the restaurant is bad – two of us suffered after having consumed some milk at the breakfast. Further on the service in general was... More

Very basic accommodation for the price! There weren’t many options left when we booked. Once we were in our backpacker mindset (embracing a lumpy mattress with no proper bedding and ants invading the bathroom!) we didn’t so much mind sleeping here for 2 nights whilst out rock climbing all day but we definitely wouldn’t stay again. Staff here were super... More

Overall, I'd say 1 star. This is more of a backpackers hostel with private rooms - not a resort. And if you are a backpacker, you shouldn't be paying this much. If you want a hotel and are not backpacking, you can find a much better place for the same price elsewhere on Railay easily. We ended up paying to... More
