The resort is a perfect place for relaxation in pure paradise! We had enough private space in the lovely bungalows and it was definitely not overcrowded. Also the breakfast is very good, but for dinner, there are also cheaper restaurants in the area! The setting at Railay Beach is beautiful; we even met some monkeys jumping around at the pool... More

we stayed there 5 nights and it was very good. Very good breacfast is just on the beach with incredible sea. but in the evening you couldn't swim there because the sea is run away. and it's about 10 minutes walking distance to the real beach - Raily. but when you arrive there by boat you have to be ready... We stayed at the Sand sea resort for our last two nights of holiday. The hotel was slightly over priced for what it was. The Breakfast was good an the food was good quality. The staff were very friendly and were always glad to help us and always gave us good advice.

- I booked: Grand Deluxe Double Room. -> This room has a huge bed (2*2 metres) and toilet with both bath tub + shower bath. - Positive: New furniture and modern decoration. Remarkable location: you can enjoy hotel facilities (including buffet breakfast, infinite swimming-pool, clean toilets, fast-speed Free Wi-Fi) right next to the beach. - Negative: Nothing.

Previous stayed at the Sand Sea resort over 10+ years ago. What a shame that things have changed for the worse. Gone is the cheery can do attitude and welcoming Thai hospitality. Expansion, redevelopment and a buy out from one of the large national 'chains' has led to (in my opinion) a pretty average resort with unmotivated and sometimes surly... More

It is not the lack of any bar, nor the impossibility to get a glass of wine with dinner that I object to. Religious beliefs are what they are, if some Muslims won't serve what they won't drink, that is completely their privilege. But such a fact should be ADVERTIZED, probably in bold red letters, on the website of the... More

First time i stayed at Railay Beach Resort next to the sand sea resort. I liked that hotel morebecause the rooms are nicer and the staff friendlier. The menu is not that awesome and the staff not that nice. I guess it doesn't really matter because you are in an amazing place and the only thing you do in your... More

My wife and I will most definitely return to Sand Sea Resort. It is s on a beautiful bay, with a wonderful beach. The rooms are very nice and clean ,the restaurant is very good. Of note is the staff. They are top notch My wife left behind a necklace and bracelet in our room by mistake. She called the... More

The title says most of what I'm about to say, but I feel I have to say it in the vain hope that managers at this place will read reviews and fix it. If they did then this place would be second to none on the island. The good: Bungalows are clean and air conditioned. Outdated to to the styling... More

First, there is no mention when booking that access is by long tail boat only. The local vendors charge 80 THB each way, The resort chargers 1000THB, best to use the local vendors. My wife has MS and limited mobility. I found out the day before arriving. I tried 7 times to email the hotel about access and also where... More
