We booked there last summer and the truth is that the villas are huge and beautifull.... The rest is really not worth it! The villa was full of mosquitos, BRING tons of repellent!! The beautifull gardens get full of big agresive monkeys at dawn. 😱 But the worst things were the food & beverage offer and the room service. Forget... More

We stayed at Sunrise Tropical for 2 nights of a 14 day trip thru Thailand and it was only at Sunrise that we encountered rude, unwelcoming attitudes from all employees that worked there. The resort is also very outdated. The rudest awakening came when we needed to take a long tail boat to catch a ferry. There was about thirty... More

Service was fantastic. We came I'm by boat during a huge downpour and we were soaking, they have us towels and sugar cane juice when we arrived and it we were so thankful for their hospitality. Gave us a room at the bottom of the main lodging building (there are hotel style rooms and villas), but ours had a little... More

Re\ally nice comfortable villas that are very reasonably priced. Breakfast was always of good quality and overlooking the little bay where the boats come in was very peaceful. The beach on this side of the peninsula are not worthwhile but you are very close to the best restaurants etc. The beaches on the other side are spectacular and are only... More

We stayed at sunrise tropical for four nights. We were welcomed with my partners name on the board and helped with our bags and shown to our room by the staff. We ate at the hotel on a few occasions for breakfast lunch and dinner. Breakfast was really food. All the food was very nice and not too expensive for... More

We arrived at Railay Beach East in the evening so the tide was very low. We were very hot and sweaty after carrying our bags from the boat, so we really appreciated the tray set out while we were checking in that had refreshing juices and wet towels to cool us down. Staff were very friendly and approachable. Our room... More

I stayed at the Sunrise Tropical Resort for 3 nights in June 2014 (sort of during Monsoon season). While there were some issues at the beginning because we were putting 3 people in a 2 person room and they wanted to charge about 2700 THB extra for 3 nights, we resolved it and and my two traveling friends and I... Sunrise Tropical is set on the eastern side of Railay peninsula, so it faces sunrise. It opens out onto the beach, which is mangrove in this case, but although there's no sand beach there is a lovely view. The resort comprises a number of villas and a low-rise complex set snugly in lush gardens with a pool. There is a... More

We stayed at this resort for 7 days in the middle of our stay in Thailand. Other locations we stayed were Cape Panwa Hotel and Centara Grand West Sands Resort & Villas Phuket. The rooms we stayed in were an interconnecting Tropical Villa (Twn and Dbl). What was good Everything was close to our rooms. At the other locations we... More
