We stayed here for a total of 3 nights over the New Years Celebration. First of all i need to say that some of the staff are very rude, I understand that every hotel has their processes but i think they should be clearly comunicated to the guests beforehand. For example, we did not realise that the hotel is run... More

We stayed there for 3 nights i January. The Hotel is cheap and has a quet location on the beach looking towards to Krabi. The rooms are clean and nice and the bathrooms are very spacious. The personal at the hotel is very helpful and the welcome dring was verynice as the same counts for both brakfast and the dining... More

This hotel is located in Railay East, but it has perhaps the best location in Railay: - 5 min walk to Phranang beach - 3 min walk to the closest climbing wall - tens of restaurants and massage places nearby. - two minimart within 20 meters from the main entrance. We had a half of the connected villa for ourself.... More

Overall we found Sunrise overrated, lovely location, nice swimming pool surrounded by gorgeous tropical fauna, downside was the room we were allocated was advertised as a 'chalay' which turned out to be a dingy, fusty overpriced hotel room, we did change after 2 nights to a pool facing room, in hindsight we should have moved on to Phi Phi at... Due to the mixed reviews of this hotel I was a bit worried, but I was surprised to find such a beautiful resort, almost hidden on the east side of Railay. Very quiet and green. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The bungalow was very clean and always replenished. I would definitely return to Sunrise Tropical on my next... More

Having stayed at this resort, in a deluxe bungalow, in 2009, I had half expected it to start looking a little dreary now and not half as nice as it was all those years ago. Definitely not, the resort is still beautiful, as is Railay. Also Railay has expanded a little (thank god, unlike Phi Phi) it still has the... More

The room was fine for the 1 night we stayed and we enjoyed the breakfast. We had one really bad meal here (fried red snapper) although that seems to be a theme on Railay in general. We found the price to be expensive for what it is comparative to other places.

Before we booked this hotel, I spent a lot of time researching hotels in Railay, and knew what to expect (or so I thought) in advance as we were in Railay 5 years ago. So I was prepared for this hotel being on the East side, also that there is no bar here, plus that Railay is a sleepy place... More

Nice little resort on a quiet part of the beach, next to famous Rayavadee hotel. Nice reception and breakfast area. T he standard rooms are a bit weak, the villas must be much better. Friendly staff. A good choice in Railay.

Tom yam Kung, fried rice, vegetables salad, French fries .....all tasted good. The only thing made us disappointed is that there are lots of flies and bees flying around you who you are eating. Anyway, wonderful good at low price and worth trying.
