I read about a billion reviews of all the hotels in Railay and had a hard time picking one because all of them seemed to have at least a handful of really terrible reviews which worried me. I ended up settling on Sunrise, which seemed to have the least amount of bad reviews and was the most economically priced place... More

Nice pool. Decent rooms. Being on the eastern side, it is not located on the nicer side of the island, Railay west is much nicer. The breakfast was decent with good variety and custom made omelettes. The staff was not very friendly and we did not get much help when we needed. Getting to Railay is a bit of a... More

After the hustle and bustle of Bangkok this place was such a breath of fresh air. From the free cold towel and guava drink soon arrival to the workers' willingness to help with anything you need. It was a great few days with such a relaxed island vibe. Very good value for the price. Definitely recommend.

Very nice and fancy hotel, the garden is beautiful and the location is great, The restaurant is great and definitely not expensive. The room are well and nice furnished. We stayed there on night and we were very happy with the service, though the WiFi was very weak in the room but good in the lobby.

Sunrise is right on the water on Railay East, which is tidal mangrove bay, with a nice pool area at the front. We had one of the rooms looking out over the pool and the bay, comfortable and clean , certainly not luxurious. Luckily, there was no need for hot water in the shower, as it didn't work. Breakfast ok,... More

I stayed here with my family - 4 people in total over the Easter break and whilst the location and setting was perfect, our room was a big disappointment. We stayed in the tropical chalay and found the room facilities to be very old and in a state of disrepair. The decor was faded wallpaper from the 1980s and the... More

We stayed in the 1 BR villa. The rooms were great with wooden floors and good sized bathrooms. it sure lives up to the "tropical" part of the name with plenty of trees and greenery. Swimming pool is smallish but that said you have 2 gorgeous beaches nearby to swim - Railay West and Ko Phra Nang. Dont miss the... More

On the plus side, this hotel is gorgeous - the villas stunning and comfortable, and the location well kept. They provided a cot for the baby, which was comfortable and clean. No faults with how the hotel looks. BUT - management really need to be more proactive with enhancing staff-guest communications: 1) they need to provide DO NOT DISTURB signs.... More

This is my third stay here. On my previous reviews I described the hotel as the best option in Railay (as a measure of cost/benefit), but last time I complained about some shortcomings in the room. I am pleased to say that a lot of small adjustments have gone through: - new lcd TV (to replace a positively jurassic TV)... More

We had a pretty good time at this hotel - our room was basic, yet very spacious and they cleaned it every day. The staff was decent - not too many smiles, but they did assist us when asked. The hotel is perfectly located on the East side of Reilay beach - in-between Pranang and Reilay beach so you have... More
