We have 6 nights here ,we arrive from krabi airport and a van pick us up and send us to the pier, from the pier a long tail boat leads us to the hotel pier, from railay beach we had a tractor pulling us and the luggage up direct to the hotel as its uphill!! and its really crazy, we... More

I can't imagine why anybody here would be giving negative reviews of this place, this place was probably the most beautiful spots we stayed in our 2 months in Aoutheast Asia. The hotel staff were all quite friendly (especially the front desk girl), the infinity pool was beautiful, the view of the limestone cliff faces was astounding and the rooms... More

I was really looking forward to staying on Railay Beach, and was very disappointed. We booked and prepaid for four nights at Phutawan, but left after the first night. The hotel is okay, but the customer service wasn't great. I had confirmed airport transportation thru email, but no one was there when we arrived. When I called them, instead of... More

Extremely great value for what it is. The hotel it self is relatively clean and the infinity pool over looking the east Railay bay with rock climbing on your door step. The hotel can pick you up from the pier in tractor and the service is great. Highly recommended especially if you like peace and quiet. Its only a 10... More

Stayed here may 2015 on a group tour (fnez) and it was spectacular! The main highlight is definitely the Infiniti pool that overlooks east beach and rock climbing, and is all secluded between the mountains. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were great and featured AC, and the restaurant at the hotel was also amazing! Be warned though this... More

My boyfriend and I are still dreaming about our stay here.. it was absolutely perfect. We had a standard room and it was a great size and very comfortable. We had a balcony where we could look out and see the beautiful mountains and also could see a view of the ocean. The breakfast buffet was nice as well. We... More

We stayed here in April 2015 with our two children and found it was a great place to stay in Railay. Amazing location and a beautiful vista from the swimming pool. Only a short walk to East and West Railay but it's worth it for the view. We had a family room which had two good sized beds. Breakfast was... More

I stayed in Phutawan resort twice: this autumn and 2 years ago. I enjoyed both of my stays. This time they made quite a lot of improvements - a really good swimming pool, new well-equipped rooms, and one thing that is very important to me - they have free wifi now. The staff is nice and helpful, and the location... More

Railay is pricier than the mainland, with average quality. All supplies are ferried in from the mainland so this adds some reasoning. This hotel is one of the best 'value' on the island- but book online. Walk ins will be charged a much higher price. Rooms not cleaned unless you hang a 'clean request' on the door which seemed odd.

We are a couple (M43, F38), adventurous, young at heart, thrifty travellers. Standard ROOM was very clean and comfy. The only problem is the AC is directly above the bed... Fortunately they have a fan that you can switch on a blow air towards the bed, so we ended up switching off the AC at night. LOCATION is nice. It's... More
