My boyfriend and I are still dreaming about our stay here.. it was absolutely perfect. We had a standard room and it was a great size and very comfortable. We had a balcony where we could look out and see the beautiful mountains and also could see a view of the ocean. The breakfast buffet was nice as well. We... More

We stayed here in April 2015 with our two children and found it was a great place to stay in Railay. Amazing location and a beautiful vista from the swimming pool. Only a short walk to East and West Railay but it's worth it for the view. We had a family room which had two good sized beds. Breakfast was... More

I stayed in Phutawan resort twice: this autumn and 2 years ago. I enjoyed both of my stays. This time they made quite a lot of improvements - a really good swimming pool, new well-equipped rooms, and one thing that is very important to me - they have free wifi now. The staff is nice and helpful, and the location... More

Railay is pricier than the mainland, with average quality. All supplies are ferried in from the mainland so this adds some reasoning. This hotel is one of the best 'value' on the island- but book online. Walk ins will be charged a much higher price. Rooms not cleaned unless you hang a 'clean request' on the door which seemed odd.

We are a couple (M43, F38), adventurous, young at heart, thrifty travellers. Standard ROOM was very clean and comfy. The only problem is the AC is directly above the bed... Fortunately they have a fan that you can switch on a blow air towards the bed, so we ended up switching off the AC at night. LOCATION is nice. It's... More

We booked this by walking in and and having a look around first and I think we actually booked via agoda as it had a better deal than the walk in price. So be sure to check that out sometimes. The room was large ànd comfy, with a nice terrace. We didn't take the newer rooms overlooking the pool, but... More

This review is on account of having made a booking for a total of eight rooms for family attending a wedding in Railay beach. The resort staff were very helpful in accommodating the group, and attending to their requirements - which wasn't easy given a lot of the group were inexperienced international travellers who did not speak much English nor... Phutawan Resort. This place is not a bad place to stay.it has a lovely pool with a spectacular view. It close to all the beaches and climbing. There is a little coffee bar there that made lovely lattes with a good fun attitude. The staff at the resort were helpful and nice. The breakfast was fairly average. However the staff... More

I loved this resort. It's a little walk uphill away from the coast but as a reward you get fantastic views of the cliffs and the sea from the great little infinity pool. We had a family room which was clean and all we needed. The restaurant is high up as well providing great views. The breakfast is ok, not... More

My review for this one actually includes two room types which is why it is rated average. The first room offered was a 'bungalow' type room. It was extremely basic but still had all the necessities. There was a problem with mosquitos, which is pretty typical in Thailand but the location of these huts or bungalows seemed to attract more... More
