The road up to the hotel is a little hairy, but this seems to be the only proper hotel in town. We stayed 2 nights. The pool area and view over the countryside are lovely. The hotel (and the pool) is beautiful, but a couple of basic amenities were conspicuously absent: no in-room safe, no shampoo, and the walls are very thin. The only dinner option both nights we were there was the pricey buffet. If i had to do it again I'd only stay one night.

We were delighted to arrive at this beautiful hotel with wonderful views across the country. We arrived just at sunset which made it all so much more appealing. Good stay for a visit of Opuwo. It is high up on a hill which is steep and not paved so a good, steady car is necessary.
