We stayed for two nights, the lobby was spartan but clean, the staff have a ready smile and a bow to all the guest, the only confusion we had on the first day are the many passageway to your room, the room itself is clean and spacious, the bed is another matter, it has seen better days. The hotel had... More

I went to Onyang with my families and mother, especially for traditional hotspring. The hotel is a tradition hotel, old but the receptionists were very nice, and the beds were clean. But, the air-conditioning was not tolerable, coz it became 27degree C during the night, and it was so so hot. I have to get up late 3:00am and went... More

stayed for 1N in a traditional Korean style room, meaning just mats on the heated floor. the room was spartan, with a CRT TV and an analogue control panel with defunct A/C switch. good experience, convenient for the spa downstairs. the spa was a gender-separated no-nonsense hot spring spa with two hot and one cold indoor pools plus one hot... within 10 mins walk from Onyangoncheon station. 24-hour hot spring water in room but don't know it's real or not, it's better to public pools in basement, 6000 Won and 40% discount for guest. But just 3 hot sprint pools(2 indoor and 1 outdoor) and 1 cold pool over there.

The hotel is expansive and sitting on top of the source of healing hot springs culture in Korea. 90 minutes out of Seoul by car I recommend taking the train. Get a traditional room and sleep on the heated floors. The hot springs spa was in the basement of the hotel.. catered more to locals than hotel guests.. was around... More

I stayed two night in deluxe room in December 2011. This hotel is very close to Onyang train station and Onyang traditional market, so I found this hotel easily and I had a fun in the market. Moreover the room was very clean and quite. However the hot spring of the hotel was not satisfied, cause it was old fashioned... More

The last time I had been to this hotel was 1969, had heard it had been remade and boy was it a different place. We opted for a traditional room for the fun of it and it was just fine. The heated floor and puffy bed clothes made the experience pleasant and mildly fun. I missed chairs more than a... More

We chose to stay in an ondol (traditional room). The room was spartan but there were more than enough floor mattresses and quilts to make our rest comfortable. There were only a couple of staff at the front desk who could communicate reasonably in English, so we pantomimed a lot. The body messages offered at the hotel (through Spa Therapy)... More

I stayed at this hotel in May 2010 for around 2 weeks. The hotel is situated far (20-30 mins) from the Cheonan city center - Yawoori. A Taxi wud typically take around USD 20-25 from Onyang to Yawoori. Coming back to the hotel, the corridors have wall to wall carpet which probably hasnt been shampooed for ages, so the corridors...
