We have booked 1 night with Inverdoorn, this included 2 safaris, lunch, dinner and breakfast and transfer from and to CT. We chose the guest house option as it was cheaper (but still 3200 SA Rands p/person). The original schedule was to leave from CP at 9 am to arrive at Inverdoorn around noon (it takes 3 full hours by... More

is not enough. You need at least two nights. The first overnight stay must include an afternoon safari and a then an early morning safari. The earlier the better. What a great experience! Walking with giraffe, playing with a baby cheetah, watching a cheetah run and eating delicious food and lounging alongside a cool pool. After a hot day of... More

Just spend one night which clearly was not enough after our experience at the Inverdoorn. The people and the whole setting what made it an unforgettable experience. Getting there from Cape Town was relatively easy dont think you can get lost actually, just count on an 3 hour drive from the City. Once your there it really feels like you... More

If you want to see cheetah's, zeebra's, giraffes, buffalo's, springboks, lions or a hippo and within six weeks from now some elephants....... Go there. The safari's are great, a bit bumpy but who cares... The animals are sometimes hard to find, great, that is how it's supposed to be. And if you like to have a marvelous lunch and the... More

We spent one night at Inverdoorn and it was a great trip. The drive took us just on 3 hours from Strand. The last 17 kms are on dirt roads, but they are fine even for a small car. Inverdoorn is wonderful, and being in the Little Karoo is a brilliant contrast to ocean side Cape Town. We stayed in... More

Generally the reviews on Trip Adviser are good and with good reason. We made the journey from Cape Town, which took us a little over 3 hours to make the journey in our hire car. We got google directions and my best advice is to stick to the N1 out of Cape Town until you hit the turn off before... More

Upon arrival we were shown to not be on the booking list despite repeated email confirmations. Our room was not ready, nearly 2pm, but we were told to drop our bags and eat so they could finish. The door to the chalet could not be opened unless you followed a knack due to shoddy maintenance. The game drive was canned,... More

Thank you for reviewing our property, it’s always excellent feedback for us to know where to improve our services and keep maintaining one of the best lodging facilities and Safari near Cape Town for more than 16 years now. We can assure you that the disappointment you felt is extremely exceptional as all staff members and our reservationists are fully... More

This year's safari at Inverdoorn has been another great experience. There are not so many animals as in other reservs but therefore a very personal care and great interest about all the animals which makes the trip very interesting and much more natural (not like a zoo :-)). The accommodatioin (we stayed in Luxury 2) is just outstanding. Much more... More

Again The Cape is not traditional safari turf, but Inverdoorn does a pretty good job of displaying a good variety of wildlife for those with limited time in the area and those not traveling further north to the likes of Kruger. The atmosphere was very relaxing and I really liked the way you were greeted, given time to unwind and... More

You haven't seen South -Africa if you haven't seen the (Little) Karoo and there is no better way to see it than by staying a couple of nights at Inverdoorn. That is, in a nutshell, the essence of this review. I confess, I'm a repeat-Inverdoorn-visitor. My last visit was last month and I'll be back early next year. Inverdoorn simply... More
