Came to this game reserve just after New Years with two friends. Went for the overnight package which involved an evening game drive and a morning drive. Saw all the animals within the reserve, which included all of the big 5 for South Africa. Had a thoroughly enjoyable time, including the ability to relax by the pool. Accommodation was lovely... A friend and I have just got back from a 2 night stay, and we honestly couldn't praise this experience enough. From the moment we arrived to the minute we left we were looked after by the members of staff who couldn't do enough to ensure we had everything we needed. We paid for the luxury lodge and it was... The facilities were very nice, the food was tasty, the pool was refreshing, but the animals have been rescued and are being "rehabilitated" or allowed to live out their lives in low scrub landscape. Rhino horn poaching is a huge problem and their controversial defense is to poison then remove the rhinos' horns so what you see are disfigured rhinos.... More

We stayed in the family lodge and the accommodation was wonderful, the great thing was that even though it was very hot outdoors the rooms were cool and comfortable. The afternoon and early morning game drives lived up to our expectations and were fab. We loved the cheetah race, all in all the whole experience was wonderful.

We booked the mid day to mid day safari package with late afternoon and early morning game drives. All well run, with good food. We treat ourselves to a luxury chalet which was excellently furnished with a huge luxury bathroom. On top of which was the highlight of the Cheeta encounter with the wonderful Velvet, a rescue Cheeta.

We had a fantastic time at Inverdoorn! Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly staff member and given a drink while she explained when meals and the safaris were going to take place and where (we opted for the afternoon and morning safaris and just stayed one night). All the food provided was beyond my expectations - tasty, good... More

We stayed in a 5 star chalet on Inverdoorn Game Reserve & had a great experience. The room was a little snug of luxury in contrast to the rustic outdoors of the reserve. A separated shared pool is available to guest of the 5 star chalets, with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains... and on our visit two baby rhinos... More

We stayed overnight and did two safaris, one at 5 pm and one at 6 a.m. We stayed in the cheapest lodgings there, a two room family house where the entrance is shared with two other rooms. The bedding was very comfortable and the bathroom clean, modern and spacious. On the safaris we saw elephants, lions (from a distance), buck,... More

I've been to Inverdoorn twice now. On both occasions we stayed overnight and opted for the 2 safaris option which I highly recommend - the experience is completely different from the morning drive to the afternoon. The staff are very passionate about what they do and will go out of their way to ensure you see as many animals as... More

we knew it was within our capabilities to get there and enjoy an experience of the big 5. it took 3 hours to get there and the last 15 ks it was on rough ground. but it was worth it. we settled for a lunch and then 2 and half hour safari. which was great. we saw giraffe and buck... More
