I stayed at Sissinghurst Farmhouse for one night and I really enjoyed the whole stay. I got a varm welcome, a very nice cup of tea on arrival, splendid room, marvelous breakfast and great hosts. I can recommend this BB. I'll be back with my husband next time.

Sue and team took such magnificent care of us when we stayed in late June of 2013. The glory of the gardens at Sissinghurst was a perfect pair with the gracious hospitality of the Farmhouse. From the moment we arrived (tea and a warm loaf of sweet bread, studded with candied ginger, YUM!) to the sad day of departure, we... More

We stayed here just over a year ago, had a great time and thought we may return, however I'm astonished to see that the room rate has increased from £125 a night to £160 for the same room. Shame because at £125 it was about right, but £160??

Thank you for your comments I wanted to clarify the increase in room rate over the last 2 years. Our special out of season rate for this bedroom at the end of October 2012 was £130 per night , the 2012 summer rates were £150 per night including tea and cake upon arrival, breakfast and VAT. During 2013 I increased... More

My wife and I stayed 2 nights on the occasion of my son's wedding (which took place in the Herb garden of Chapel Down vineyard). Everything about the recently refurbished Farmhouse was absolutely first class, from the friendly welcome by Ruby the Labrador closely followed by her owner to the superb locally sourced freshly cooked full English breakfasts. Quite simply... More

My friend and I spent three nights here, using it as a base to visit gardens and other attractions close by. The farmhouse was an excellent place to stay - central location in Kent, spotlessly clean rooms with nice duvets and full baths and beautifully prepared breakfasts each day. Eggs and sausage from nearby farms, homemade granola and jam, and... More

We stayed in the Sissinghurst Farmhouse (Hampstead room) for three nights in September. It is a beautiful house with nicely furnished rooms on the first floor and downstairs a lounge and a breakfast room. The Full English English breakfast was great to start the day with a selection of fresh fruit and juices. Our host gave us a warm welcome... More

My wife and I visited the Castle Farmhouse in August. We stayed one night. (Big Mistake). Should have stayed 2 or 3 nights. Wow, this place is super. The host was right there to make you feel welcome when one enters the front door. The rooms are very nice and large. Our room had a king size bed. The house... More
