The gardens were truly beautiful and the gardener (s) keep sissinghurst in an idyllic condition. However, we were expecting more of the house to be on exhibition , therefore to only find one small tower, with vita's library, memoirs and a small amount of visual aid available, we were a little disappointed. In all honesty, the gardens, vegetable patch, small... More

This is simply the perfect place to stay if visiting Sissinghurst. It's just a minute's walk to the entrance gate, and as a result one has the feeling of remaining within the gardens. The house itself is charming with a real sense of history. Our room was light and airy with traditional, yet comfortable furnishings and a fabulous view of... More

This was our second stay here in three years. The previous time we had the most expensive room and this time we had the cheapest. Both were great. The location of course is one of the best selling points, as many rooms have views of the Sissinghurst tower. And, because the Farmhouse is on the estate, there are many walks... More

This was our final stop on a 10 day English garden tour and there couldn't be a better location than this Farmhouse which overlooks an outstanding castle and garden! This was also the largest B&B at which we stayed (7 rooms) but the rooms, service and breakfasts were excellent. The view out our window was the castle itself. The lawn... More

The Farmhouse B&B is part of the Sissinghurst Estate, a couple of minutes walk from the National Trust Garden entrance. Whilst the gardens are probably the main attraction for most, there are many other good places to visit within 30 minutes, the gardens at Great Dixter being one well worth a visit. We stayed just for one night and were... More

fortunate to get a cancellation, we stayed only one night to see the gardens. Accommodation is unique, large farm house with large beautiful garden, friendly staff and fellow guests. The breakfast using local Kent produce was sublime and the dining room so beautiful. Then a gate right onto Sissinghurst, closer than the car park. Another unique National Trust treasure, stunning... We agree with the other positive reviews. Sue is delightful, our room (Maplehurst) was very comfortable, the bathroom (with the exception of a too small sink) was completely adequate, breakfasts were very good and the proximity to Sissinghurst's gardens is ideal. And, yes; The Three Chimneys was delicious for dinner. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The reviews here are to be believed - yes this place is that good. Let's start with Sue, the lady who runs the Farmhouse. She and her family really want you to have a great visit. Her dog Ruby is such a great dog. Since we missed our dog at home, Ruby tried to fill the gap. She had tea... More

Sue at the Farmhouse provides a warm welcome and extraordinary service. When we couldn't get a taxi (since all were booked) she cheerfully drove us to the Three Chimneys Restaurant for dinner, which, by the way, is excellent. Breakfast included everything one could possibly want, including fresh asparagus! Staying on the grounds of Sissinghurst Castle was a dream-come-true for us,... More

We stayed four nights here in the "Sissinghurst" corner room and felt right at home. Spacious, comfortable and great views. Sue, the owner, is the best hostess. Very friendly and exceedingly helpful. The other guests were all very friendly and we quickly started sharing stories and had many laughs together. Most were repeat visitors to the Farmhouse which speaks highly... More
